We have been customer for discover from last 3 years.There are two instances which concerned me. Case1: Discover forgot to give cashback bonus. When I contacted them they said sorry and credited my cashback. Case2: Wrong calculations. 20.86 + 0.00 = 50.86. Me: I contacted them and asked can you please explain the transactions. Reply:They told there is a transaction which is of $26.59 yet to be posted so it is 50.86. Me:I asked 20.86 + 26.59 is 47.45 why it is 50.86. Reply: "Sorry for inconvenience the current balance showing on your account is incorrect. The correct balance should be 47.45". Me: I asked them whether it is my duty to keep track of transaction. Can't I trust you with correct balance. NO REPLY Please provide me a option to put some screenshots.

I have had an account with Discover for over 7 years. It's been paid of with a negative balance (they owe me) 0.06. Attempted to use my credit card today to book our honeymoon travel and the card was declined. I logged in to my account and saw there was more than sufficient AVAILABLE BALANCE in my account. Nowhere on the screen (I have screenshots) does it show anything out of the ordinary, however, due to 'inactivity' they closed my account 2 months ago. The only answer they could provide was "We sent you a letter" (Bear in mind, I do everything electronically with e-statements) and that I could "apply for a new card" if I would like. Their online system tells you there is an available balance even if there isn't. I will never do business with a company that misleads its customers, is unwilling to reactive a card that was "closed due to inactivity" two months ago, and impacted my honeymooon. If they close a card, they should adjust the AVAILABLE BALANCE online to ZERO. Poor customer service through and through.

Absolutely awful. People are polite enough. But there was nothing that anybody could do to help. Discover blatantly close my account without any kind of information as to why they were closing the account. I had life happen to me. I jumped on this right away! I had a zero balance on this card the card it was completely paid off. I already had a company helping me out with my unexpected life issue. So that I wouldn’t have problems like this... I use my credit card for emergencies primarily. I don’t believe this is the right way to do business. As a customer that has alway paid my bills on time. No balance. This is not ok... How can you trust that they’re going to be there when you need them! Discover does whatever they want to do when they want to do it and it doesn’t matter about about the customer... I will never deal with this company again!!! I have other Credit card one that just raised my current available balance. They’ve been good cards this far have not given me any kind of issues like this. Also way better rewards. While Discover just close my account with absolutely no real reason why...

Liars and crooks. First they deny me twice on a dispute. I spent $321.26 and got nothing in return. Then they took $1400 from me without permission and no warning. Their commercials that say they treat you as you would treat you are crap. When you talk to anyone there when you have a problem you can hear them shrugging their shoulders. Is that how you would treat you?

After using discover card for more than 20 years I have experienced worse and worse service recently. This culminated in sending a letter to their executive offices over 3 weeks ago. I never even received the dignity of a response. Will not be a customer much longer.

After being a cardmember for 6-7 years, never missing a payment, and just having my line of credit automatically increased, my account was closed with notice of an email. After calling, they mentioned that it was due to a mark on my credit report. This mark was made in error, the company provided a letter mentioning it was in error, it was reported to the credit bureau and in the process of being removed (but this is a long process, apparently), but Discover did nothing to notify or reach out before closing the account, regardless of history and years of membership. When providing all the above information, they were unable to help or entertain the idea of reopening the account, said they wouldn't even when officially removed from my credit report, and that I would have to reapply, which they confirmed would be another hard inquiry and effect their answer. You would think that loyalty, on time payments, and no account issues for many years would mean something, but to Discover, it means nothing at all.

These Discovery Financial advisers is just Money hungry!!!! they destroy Families and am not afraid of destroying people and their loved ones on social Media. What a disgrace and discovery does nothing to them. Shame on you Carmen Jasper and Shame on you DISCOVERY. Look at her true colors. What will she do if she ever leave discovery. Probably shame the hell out of Discovery
