Your call-in staff needs specifice training to deal with RV Customers!!!
My wife and I spent two hours on the phone this past Saturday trying to get an account and Directv service acitivated for our motorhome. We were bounced from Customer Service to sales to RV department to "movers" and back and forth until out of exasperation we finally quit. After explaining what we needed on your chat line with Drew today, he returned a call to us and we believe everything is now set to go with a service call this Thursday, all of which took about 15 minutes. It seems nobody we talked to on Saturday has any idea what an RV is. We explained that the Direct dish installed at the factory is fully automatic and NOT INTENDED to be used while in motion, and raises and seeks satelites only when we are parked for the night or duration of a short stay. Suggest you determine the needs of RV customers and provide some specific training to meet those needs. If we had a choice when we purchased our RV, we would have requested "DISH" service instead, as many of our friends with DISH did not experience anything close to what we did. Get you people on the ball and into the real world. Tom Trowbridge Gresham, Oregon
