I was asleep when the rep called, because I work nights, but he gave me all the time I needed to find the information I needed to complete my order. He was very courteous and helpful, didn't push when I didn't want something and all in all I am looking forward to our Directv getting installed.

This week I set up deal with AT&T and tv with DirectTV. AT&T took 45 minutes to order a basic service. Direct Tv took 20 minutes. Good job.

The mostly good - Installer was EXCELLENT - professional AND friendly. I felt really good that you hired him to represent your company. Surprised to see his supervisor drop in to check on progress, surprised in a good way. makes me realize that you care about your customers. Snall bad - when setting up the account, we asked for both the husband and wife names to be on the account. Only the wife's name was there. We were asked for both phone numbers, again only the wife's number was on file. One idea for improvement - the DirectTV channel guide that is part of the instruction book should actually be on your website instead of the way you show packages. This presentation of what is available and more importantly what is missing, does a much better job summarizing than your existing packages and channels pages. Now as long as your equipment works better than the cable company we will be really happy.

I had done all the research prior to calling and knew what I wanted but the salesperson still did what they always do - tried to sell. He was very nice and tried to up sell me on everything but immediately stopped when I told him I wasn't interested. I'm happy with how the whole process went but I think it could and should have taken less than an hour to complete. I just hope the actual equipment and TV service doesn't disappoint.

Between DirectTV and CenturyLink, I was on the phone for over an hour-and-a-half. I recognize the need for confirmations and security, but I was giving the same information multiple times - I would have been okay with more information sharing on your end so I wasn't answering redundant questions. That being said, all parties were professional, easy to understand, and willing to help when I had questions or needed clarification. I felt sufficiently informed to be making good decisions and I'm comfortable that I'll be getting the services I want. The price ended up a little higher than I expected based on the ad circular I'd received, but it is still substantially better than my current service provider - and the extra costs were from CenturyLink for higher speed internet access, not DirectTV. I'm actually getting a slightly better TV package for a slightly lower price than I expected.

The overall purchase experience was pretty easy. The customer service rep was very friendly and knowledgable. Everything was explained to the T. No complaints on the purchase. Now let just hope the T.V. Service is just as good as the customer service experience. Tech due to arrive within the next 4 hours. Cant wait! Thanx Direct T.V.

First off I want to say why I give 4 stars. I spoke to about 3 different reps. The first rep was not good. She did not seem knowledgeable at all nor did her attitude reflect that of trying to do what is best for the customer. The 2nd rep I talked to is the one I placed my new account with. He seemed very knowledgeable, helpful, and answered any/all of my questions; except for when I asked about the 'refer a friend' promotion, he said it was no longer valid. I called back later that night to talk to the 3rd rep about the 'refer a friend' promo and she said that, indeed, it was still active. So the 3rd rep updated my account with the required promo information. So all in all, I was pleased, however, it took 3 reps to do this...

daniel was very polite however, i was never told that my credit score wasn't high enough to actually recieve the genie dvr that was advertised in the add so i was expecting one but didn't find this info until the technician started explaining how to use the dvr The technician was a dream very professional, informative and went above and beyond the experience of time warner
