You cannot get an answer about internet / bundled services until you first sign up, take a hit on your Fair-Isaacs credit score, and pay with a credit card. After all this, it transpires there is no high speed internet partner in your neighborhood. This is so unethical as to border on the criminal. A shame, since DirectTV is probably the best for programming and price of the TV service.

Service Rep did not apply refer a friend discount and broke company promise. No one can fix this. No knows what to do and just get the run around, wasting my time, six phone calls and two hours nothing accomplished. Promotional gimmicks ruin service experience and encourage customers to cancel. Service reps are not empowered to do anything but poorly document the call and transfer customer, this just reinforces the lie and continues poor customer care. I look forward to paying my $300 to no thave to deal with your company's bullshit policies and practices. Real waste of time and money. IF YOU MAKE A PROMISE TO A CUSTOMER KEEP IT!!!!

On September 19 I had a guarantee appointment between 8-12. I took off work for this appointment! I called at 10:00AM to get status of my appointment "They are on there way...........At 12 noon I called and my garneted appointment was switched to Saturday. No call no acceptance on my part. NOTHING. Upon calling Direct TV the witch was rude and talked over my conversation. THEY ARE RUDE Don't use Direct TV......You will regret it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hidden fees, fees not previously discussed and temporary discounts not previously explained drove the cost of service up over 3 months and again over 12 months. One of the discounts wasn't even explained to me and I would have never agreed to in the first place ($10 autopay discount). I most definitely do not want my cable/satellite dish company having access to my bank accounts or credit card on a monthly basis. I set up my own automatic check pays that I can control in the even to of a dispute. By the time I added back in all of the hidden fees, I was practically back up to what my original carrier charges. Not too happy with this "bait and switch" scheme Directv has going and not in love with the fact that I would have been trapped in a 2 year agreement under terms that were misrepresented to me by their representative. I'm so glad that I cancelled before installation. I'll keep looking for a cheaper alternative to my current cable. Until then, I've taken DirecTV off my list.

Since Direct TV runs a credit report before offering service, my credit score has been lower because I was given misleading information regarding your bundle offer. This offer is completed misleading and offered me no value whatsover.

1st time ever talking with Direct. Not happy with unexpected, added fees. When they transferred me to technical support for Internet service I ended up hanging up. I could not hear the rep on the line, asked her to call me back. She gave me a very smart ass and uncalled for answer. Now I'm not even wanting to subscribe to Direct TV service. Comcast might be higher but at least they have some class!!!

We switched to Direct TV because we were sick of the service and price at our current provider. When the technician arrived for the install he only had enough equipment for 1 TV and our order was for 3. This was already an annoyance as we have now only had 1 working TV for a week and have to schedule another installation appointment. When I called to reschedule I was told after being on hold for half an hour that there was nothing the service rep could do and a supervisor would contact me. I was never contacted so I called again 2 days later. After being on hold for 45 minutes I was again told there is nothing they could do but my local install office would contact me. I was contacted by the install office and told they can not do anything and that I need to contact Direct TV This has been extremely frustrating to deal with and at this point I wish that I never switched but the want to charge me an outrageous fee to cancel at this point. I highly recommend anyone considering Direct TV look elsewhere.

Complaining to better business Bureau and will use other provider.
