My agent has diabetes just like I do. Very caring and understanding or my situation. This group is the best at finding life insurance for diabetics.

Matt Schmidt is hands down one of the best reps I have ever worked with. This is the second life insurance policy he has assisted me with. Matt is always available and able to answer my questions, he is patient and professional. I will always use him and your company as a resource to others simply because of Matt and how smooth he makes a process as important as life insurance go.

Matt Schmidt has a prominent form on his DLS website. If you fill out this form, he will e-mail you and text you the next day. If you don't reply within a couple days, he will call you from a private number and say harassing things in a strange voice like, "Get off the internet dumbass, quit applying for insurance, why don't you respond to messages dumbass." At least, that was my experience. I politely asked him about this via text, and he replied, "I only work with those who get back in touch with us in a timely manner. Unfortunately you do not meet our criteria to work with us." Again, this two days after submitting the form. From the other reviews here it seems like Matt has run a solid business for some time, but he must be going through some things personally and should take some time off before he runs that business into the ground. Approach Diabetes Life Solutions with great caution, unless you enjoy being harassed.

It's a breath of fresh air to work with honest people. I had spoke with other agents from Policy Genius, Select Quote, and Efinancial and everyone was providing fake information. Matt pointed this out, and then helped me locate the best policy possible for my type 1 diabetes history.

Very aggressive and interesting customer service. Received one of the most unprofessional emails I have ever read. “We're gonna go ahead and close out your file. This is due to you not being able to spend 15 minutes to complete a basic application. We're simply not a good fit for you as you have communication, and commitment issues. A place like Policy Genius or State Farm is probably better suited for you.”

This process went easier than I initially thought. Matt handled everything from the very beginning til the end. I'm happy with the polciy obtained.

Matt Schmidt provided excellent communications regarding the status of our application even while our difficult case was rejected by some providers. Matt persevered and we found a very good policy at a decent premium. They also did lots of the legwork of getting the medical records and other items to succeed with a policy. Thanks DLS.

Matt and his team are amazing! I have been a type 1 diabetic for about 8 years now. Life insurance companies I found didnt want to write a policy for me even though I have great control and records.
