I worked with Matt Schmidt who was absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. Honestly, I had looked for life insurance on my own in the past, and being diabetic, the rates I was getting on my own (despite being otherwise healthy and in my 20's at the time) were exorbitant. Matt took his time to walk through multiple options with me, ask me questions, and communicate exceptionally well throughout the entire process. I honestly don't think I've felt as comfortable with a representative I've never met in person before. I cannot put into words my gratitude for Matt and his company. I had a term policy expiring and needed to get another in place. I have been given the run around by several companies that say they can get a person with Type 1 diabetes insured but never came through. I was always denied simply based on diabetes.
