If I could give this company a zero star review, I would. My package has recieved the "sorry there's been a delay, please wait another 24-48 hours" twice now on the same exact package. First, it was stuck in Forest Park GA for several days. Now it's two hours away from the city I live in, Bakersfield. And hasn't bleeping moved. It's currently stuck in Compton CA and hasn't been driven another two hours to Bakersfield. Honestly, before you consider using this company, hire a pack mule or a donkey. Because I personally believe that animal transport would be much faster then DHL. Also, since this is a review of the American site and many of you aren't aware of German Languages, I have a friend who speaks a little. It turns out that DHL roughly translates to "doe heel langzaam" which is a practical joke meaning "Going Very Slow." I personally think this is the most fitting name for a company ever.

This company is horrible they lost my package since 2008 and I am still writing to them. It's not fair that I paid insurance to make sure that it arrived safely but no they placed my package in the wrong spot and said they weren't responsible. My package was worth at least $5000. They till this day have not given me anything. Till this day I owe this.. Thank you! DHL I don't recommend you to anyone.

They decided to randomly charge my account for almost $5000, without any prior notice or anything. Original quote on my shipment was $1700, customer service gave an attitude and didn’t provide any specifics on what charges are for and whether or not I’ll be ever refunded. I don’t know why they feel like they can treat their customers like that, but it’s absolutely unacceptable.

Bruttissima esperienza. Pacco fermo alla dogana da giorni, mail automatiche, servizio al cliente indecente. Uno dei peggiore, se non il peggiore corriere mai visto. Un delirio avere 2 libri. facevo prima ad andarli a comprare negli Stati Uniti a piedi. VERGOGNA.

DHL move their packages across the country by horseback. They are saving up so they can buy trucks to increase the speed of their shipping service. The horses and mules they are using are getting old anyway. It's time to modernize.

I ordered some Christmas cards. It took longer for me to get the cards in the mail than it did the company to create the order. I followed the tracking - the packaged stayed in the warehouse for 2-3 days before it moved to the next warehouse. Not acceptable.

Why would you ever use them? it makes no sense to me - why anyone would ever consider using DHL if they did the same thing. The shipping agent puts 3 bar code labels on it. The code would explain it. I get to DHL I watch DHL agent - skip scanning it - then opens the box and demands information from me. To pay DHL again. DHL is a complete joke, and you are making a huge mistake if you consider using them - for any of your logistics needs - if they do the same to you. If there was anything wrong he could of scanned the label and said there was a problem. However I took it home and had USPS ship it for near 1/3 the cost and it went there fast.

NEVER USE DHL TO SEND ANYTHING TO NICARAGUA. Nicaragua customs is so corrupt that they are imposing a 100% tax on the value of your package. DHL cannot help you or get your package to you.
