Be very careful with this company. I have numerous Dewalt tools and have registered all of them on the Dewalt website. However, the first time I needed to use a warranty, they tried to wriggle out of the claim on the basis that I had not uploaded the original invoice when I registered the product. There was absolutely no way that they would proceed with a warranty claim without proof of purchase, despite having registered the tool, and having 2 1/2 years of active warranty left, they would not process the claim without proof of purchase. They have lost any future business from me

Absolute bullshit company !!!!! I have purchased over $8,000.00 dollars worth of dewalt tools on amazon in the past 5 years, $5,000.00 in rechargeable tools. Half of their batteries die within 6 months, and they said no warranty as the batteries that came with the tools are counterfeit from amazon? Abosolute Idiots!!! I will never but that bullshit low quality crap ever again!!! Dewalt totally sucks now!!!!

Uiteraard weer belachelijk dat je altijd 1 ster moet geven want 1 ster is dus 1 ster teveel. Je kunt apparaten registreren tot einde van de maand en dan krijg je gratis accu echter moest je kopen voor 1 januari. Heb ik vijf apparaten gekocht en voor einde maand geregistreerd maar niet flexibel met aankoopdatum. 5 apparaten gekocht en op tijd geregistreerd maar niks nada nul aan extra gehad tsssssss

My waterblaster broke and when I emailed support, they take a very long time to response. Only to be referred to Mayo Hardware (which a non-competant and rude customer service). I thought Dewalt was a good brand, but I was wrong.

Purchased a drill from local retailer. Tried to register the warranty. Almost impossible! Mty model details do not bring up an image for m to tap on I have no idea what the serial number is or where and you are asked to create an account with the inevitable password to do this .Twice after creating an account I was shown "website not reachable" I've given up I hopethe drill is better than the customer registration experience!!!

Wij kochten een klopboormachine van DeWalt die na amper één jaar al defect was: de bijtelhouder was kapot. Dat probleem werd toen zonder discussie hersteld. Helaas bleek dit geen toeval, want exact één jaar later ging de machine opnieuw kapot met hetzelfde defect. De machine had 5 jaar garantie, maar plots weigerde men de herstelling nog gratis uit te voeren, met als absurde reden dat dit niet binnen de 6 maanden na de eerste herstelling viel. Met andere woorden: een duidelijk structureel probleem, maar DeWalt weigert verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Alsof dat nog niet erg genoeg is, kregen we te horen dat de herstellingskosten hoger zouden liggen dan de aankoop van een nieuwe, betere machine. Uiteraard hebben we dat niet laten uitvoeren. Wanneer we vervolgens onze kapotte machine terug gingen ophalen, moesten we ook nog eens 20 euro betalen enkel en alleen omdat ze de machine opnieuw in elkaar hadden gezet. Werkelijk hallucinant. Dit is ronduit schandalig: een duur merk dat uitpakt met lange garanties, maar zich bij problemen verschuilt achter kleine lettertjes en de klant uiteindelijk laat opdraaien voor alles. Slechte kwaliteit, slechte service en nul klantgerichtheid. Voor ons nooit meer DeWalt.

Prepare to deal with Pakistani customer support that will literally give you zero help. This was the answer I needed to switch to Milwaukee. Done done
