Bought the large mechanical tool case which generally functioned quite well but the tiniest thing lets them down. The adapter for screwdriver bits lost whatever its retaining mechanism may be for the screwdriver bits so everything simply falls out of the holder. Great fun searching under a car for the lost bit. Many phone calls, emails and website visits simply elicited the "pre-programmed?" response "That's not my department - try-------". Eventually I procured an adapter from a dirt cheap multi-purpose screwdriver kit which works faultlessly. There's a moral here. There's low cost, there's cheap throwaway and then there's DeWalt.

DO NOT BUY DEWALT MOWER!!! I paid more than 400 dollars. Brand new machine broke down, called dewalt and took it to their authorized repair shop. It sat there for 5 weeks while waiting for a part from dewalt. I called dewalt again and they said there is nothing at all they are willing to do to help. This was mid july the peak of cutting season. By their own assessment the part would be at least another month out! They would not help in any way "sorry it's company policy you must wait for the new part" NEVER NEVER NEVER buy dewalt. You have been warned!!

I am very disappointed in Dewalt. I purchased a battery operated mower for my son in 2023. He had just purchased a townhouse. The mower was in the original box and never opened. I found out later he put it in storage unopened because mowing was provided through HOA. This spring 2026 he bought a stand alone home and got the mower out to use. It only worked a few moments and then died. I took the mower to an authorized service center and they said it could not be repaired. I contacted dewalt about this matter and because it was out of warranty. I sent a letter to Dewalt in Joppa about this matter and requested they look into this. I have not heard anything and it has been a month since I sent the letter. I sent pictures also to the dewalt website customer service. I requested a replacement even though out of warranty because this mower was not attempted until this spring. Very unhappy with dewalt

Problemi con un avviatore mod.DCD734 uso privato quindi poco il motore si è rotto ho portato l'avvitatore in assistenza per la riparazione dopo circa 15 giorni mi comunica che non fanno più i ricambi pertanto non si può riparare contatto la Dewalt e mi dicono che vogliono trovare la soluzione migliore e mi trovano una soluzione bellissima ed è quella di comprare un avviatore nuovo quindi non comprare più nulla della Dewalt è invece è la mia scelta

DEWALT Débroussailleuse sans fil 38cm XR FLEXVOLT 54V solo - DCM571N HS au bout de 3 ans et une semaine. Utilisation sur un petit terrain de 5 ares, très ponctuelle. Après appel du SAV. On vous recommande de renvoyer l'équipement aller/retour à vos frais de l'autre côté de la France par transporteur spécialisé. Aucune prise en charge, aucun geste commercial. Vraiment très déçu du matériel et encore plus du service.

I purchased a Dewalt small branch cutter chain saw which I must admit cuts through a branch very good, BUT, after about 8 cuts I had to send it back for repair because the oil from the small chamber leaked into the motor area!! After repair I did not use it for a couple of months waiting for Winter to finish and today I got the saw out and the miniscule amount of oil left in it had bloody leaked into the motor area again, this is obviously a manufacturing fault of poor design so I am going to have to send it back again for repair bearing in mind I had not used it after it had already come back from repair, was it just bodged in the repair shop? who knows, I had always considered Dewalt to be good but I have changed my mind now and will think VERY carefully about buying any Dewalt things in the future

Avoid this product! The DEWALT 54V Brushless Split Boom Multi-Tool (DCMAS5713N-XE) has a serious design flaw in the attachment connector. The connection becomes loose very quickly, and tightening it causes the thread to fail after only a few uses. With the brush cutter, the retaining pin breaks under normal load. With the line trimmer, bump feeding bends the connector. DEWALT did not acknowledge this as a design or quality issue when contacted.

I have been using DeWalt and other hand tools daily for about 30 years and I can tell you from a whole lot of experience that DeWalt tools are pretty much junk. Switches go out, chucks will not stay tight grinders lock up just to name a few problems. These tools are for the once in a while use around the house. As far as heavy duty use , find another brand . I am in too deep now with many drills, saws, grinders and batteries to change out now. Do your self a favor, don't get started with DeWalt!!!
