Bought a DEWALT XR Pole Hedge Trimmer 18V Bare Unit DCMPH566N a while ago as I found my petrol hedge cutter too heavy as I have arthritis. The DeWalt pole hedge trimmer I find very awkward to use . It is top heavy and the head is permanently loose, causing the cutter to drag.In a lot of pain after using this.

I bought a DCD471B v1 angle drill and 60 Flexvolt battery on August 5th 2023 from Home Depot at a cost of $579. I would appreciate DeWalt posting a QR code or link on packaging or on product information about how to release bits and other implements in the QR chuck. I spent two days trying to free an auger when all I had to do was pull the lower knurled collar towards the tool. This also stymied the Home Depot rental personnel as they couldn't free the auger as well and suggested I put in an RMA with DeWalt. If you don't work with these tools on a regular basis you may be led to sending in a tool for service when all that was needed was some proper instructions on the operation.

My 20V circular saw handled 1x6 decking boards well. The saw failed to deliver any satisfactory result when I tried to notch my 2x12 stair stringer. It didn’t get past two cuts on a fresh battery without failing part way through each cut. The battery was dead by the third cut and the blade was sharp, brand new. I wouldn’t recommend the purchase of the saw. Too much money with unacceptable result.

I bought a set of 3 compound pliers which were well priced as a special offer. The compound structure adds definitive power to grip. unfortunately I was very, very disappointed with poor width of the open jaws of the pliers which is probably only 30% of the standard pair non-compound for this I give 3 stars. For price, power and quality I give 5 stars

I have purchased several tools from DeWalt, my palm sander started having issues after 6 months, their slogan is WE are DEWALT, and we are GUARANTEED TOUGH®, if they were guarranteed tough, they would have a better warranty than 90-day exchange, I now need to send my tool away and will be without it for several weeks. Should have done more research as I have spent a few thousand dollars on DeWalt tools and should have gone with Milwaukee. They have a better warranty. I am also waiting for DeWalt support to get back to me on another issue after sending them a few emails - no response as of yet. Depending on how they resolve my issues, I may be switching to Milwaukee, it sucks as I am heavily invested into their batteries and did not want to have batteries from two different manufacturers. So far not impressed.

Only ok. The new stuff is definitely not holding up as well as the older tools. Such a shame to see the slide in quality. I guess that is just modern America.

Initially Dewalt refused to extend the warranty for a product that I registered beyond 4 weeks from purchase because of a postal delay. Which I could demonstrate via the delivery note. After complaining via several emails and two phone calls they eventually agreed. So whilst they did the right thing in the end it was an unnecessarily frustrating experience on my part.

The polishing machine might be alright (I just bought it), but the product registration to get a 3 year warranty sucks! They have you entering all sorts of information which you need to get from the machine, but trying to work it all out is very difficult, as there are so many possibilities depending on the machine you bought and the area where you live. DREADFUL! NO EXCUSE FOR THIS POOR EXPERIENCE IN THIS DAY AND AGE.
