My experience on the sacred singing pilgrimage in Georgia has been a highlight of the year. Sean is a natural facilitator and introduces us to inspiring experts in Georgian polyphony who were also wonderful and patient teachers as they passed on their living heritage. The landscapes we passed through were breathtaking and the traditional fare we were provided was unforgettable. I can warmly recommend this adventure and thanks to the warmth of the group and all the wonderful people involved in the Institute of Devotional Arts for the amazing experience.

The journey to Georgia was well organised. The group was selected extraordinary well by having interviews with each individual prior to the event. The 9 day journey was an eye opener to learn the rich local culture directly with the families and learn one of their traditional songs every day. Singing practises were as much fun as exploring the beautiful surroundings. The Georgian harmonies reflected beautifully in our everyday harmonic life throughout the entire journey.

This was a unique and exceptional experience, also very colourful group in age, background and diversity. Selfmade little pieces of theatre were greatly enjoyed to invent and presented to the group.

Intensely personal healing journey within a beautifully gathered group of singers from around the world. An unexpected jewel of delight hosted in the warmth and cultural richness of Georgia.

I had a wonderful experience at the Institute of Devotional Arts. The location is absolutely beautiful and provides the perfect setting to disconnect, reconnect and simply be. What stood out to me most was the sense of safety and trust the facilitators created. They were exceptional: warm, attentive, professional and genuinely committed to making the experience meaningful for everyone. I left feeling grateful for the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a beautiful, supportive space to explore, learn and reconnect with themselves.
