I paid for the website design. Then I tried canceling with them, and they had a manager call me and tell me they couldn't because they had already started on it, and he ended up convincing me that I couldn't get a refund and it would be cheaper to continue with the service. About a week later, they called me to tell me that I needed to pay an extra $1300 or I could rent for $450 for a server. Oh yeah, I already paid the $750 for marketing heads up. Every time you get on the phone with them, they tell you you must purchase something new. What frustrated me was they were very misleading in the price. Initially, they make you think it's just a one-time payment of $1000. At this time I still have not received my website so I asked to cancel my service for the 3rd time and was told I could not get a refund on the website and the server. They could give me the marketing refund.

Designs Cottage is a good affordable platform for all kinds of logo designing or website but unfortunately, when you need help, their phone number is NOT working so you can't really call them to get hold of them. They do have CRM page where you can communicate with your designer but it might takes 2 days to get a reply. I thought it will take take them 48 to 72 hours to finish the whole job but in my case, it was more then 3 weeks. and I completely give up on my design . And I was not happy with the final product. I got demotivated toward the end. Designs Cottage have a good designers, skill and good platform. but I hate to say this I wasn't happy at the end. Crushed my branding dream. It is like a hit and miss situation for me. for a lot of people DC does a good job for them but I was the unlucky one. I have to start all over again somewhere else.

I really didn't expect everything they did to be so easy. Being my first time to have anything done with a Logo they took time to explain it to me. I love everything they did so much that I'm thinking I needed a bigger package.
