Spending Money I Don’t Have Waiting for Money I Do Have
I had deposited a check from a Law Firm for a settlement. My deposit would then be held for 7 business days per “Policy”. Had I been informed beforehand I would have deposited it elsewhere. As a result of that ONE oversight I’ve not had the money to pay for repairs on my car. That was the direct cause for the payment over $200 in Lyft fees just to get to work for those 7 “business” days. (In reality: 9 days total since I worked Saturday & Sunday). All to protect your bank from an assumed criminal intent based on people you’ve dealt with in Your Past. This is my first time with this bank. And I question that decision.
