Purchased this expensive product cause it looks like it comes from the US but it was from China. Never did it say on website that you need a special adapter which was not included. Could not find adapter in any store so finally bought online. They allowed a $3 dollar credit to my account because of that which hardley covered the cost of the adapter. Followed instructions and the trimmer never charged at all !!! Total junk! Went back and forth with emails with my request for a refund. They did not believe me that it did not work and they wanted me to take a video of this. I had already returned the online adapter and told them that. After a few more messages back and forth they wanted me to return the product to China which costs a lot like other reviewers are saying. I doubt after that I would even get my refund so I told them I was done and I am just going to leave a review so others will be aware and not purchase from them. Hope this review helps others not make the mistake I made.

Very disappointing experience with Dermave. I purchased a Dermave trimmer which has only been used approximately three times. Despite being properly charged, carefully stored and never dropped, damaged or exposed to water, it developed a fault where it runs for only a few seconds before stopping. I contacted Dermave expecting a reasonable resolution given how little the product had been used. Instead, they relied on their warranty period and refused to provide a refund, replacement or repair. I escalated the matter and explained that my concern was the extremely limited use and durability of the product. Their final response, after management review, was to offer me just **10% off the purchase of another Dermave trimmer**. I find that response particularly disappointing. Why would I want to spend more money buying the same product again when the first one failed after only a handful of uses? I gave Dermave several opportunities to resolve this reasonably before leaving this review. Unfortunately, I am now having to pursue the matter further. Based on my experience, I would not purchase anything from Dermave again.

Awful product overall. Very poorly made, low quality, and awful customer service. Have been trying to get a refund for over 3 weeks with no help. Do not buy!!

Will not return the unused product. I did not realize this was a subscription product. Only will return to china which the shipping cost as much as the product and it says that it has US warehouses on website. Stay far away

Horrible customer service. Refusing to respond to my request for a refund, in spite of their written policy that an order can be canceled within 24 hrs of ordering. They deflect and lie.

I cancelled my order with Dermave, immediately after placing it due to their website pricing not being upfront. They have clearly received my cancellation request as my order has not been filled, yet multiple business days later they have still not processed my refund, or even acknowleged my multiple emails requesting my refund. Do not engage with this company. Simple requests appear to be too much for them to deal with in an ethical and timely manner.

I tried every way possible for this trimmer on legs, arms, face - tilting turning going around in circles - nothing worked - my disposal razor works on my legs - The Dermave shaver did nothing and unfortunately I read too late that it is a scam and unreturnable to China!
