DentaQuest seriously needs to fix its website and payment system. Paying a simple bill is nearly impossible. Accounts get locked, customer service has to walk you through the process. I finally had to send a check just to pay my bill. This should not be this difficult. so I have decided to switch dentist.

Extremely Disappointed with DentaQuest — Serious Customer Service and Billing Concerns My experience with DentaQuest has been extremely frustrating and alarming. Based on the problems I have personally encountered, I believe DentaQuest needs serious reform in the way it handles dental claims, customer service, and employee training. One of the most troubling experiences involved basic mathematics and insurance reimbursement. A DentaQuest customer-service representative told me that if a dentist submitted a claim for $1,500, DentaQuest would pay the dentist $1,650. That explanation made absolutely no sense to me and raised serious concerns about whether some representatives adequately understand the claims and reimbursement process they are explaining to customers.

Just received a DATA BREACH letter from this GARBAGE company. I used them ONCE. SIX YEARS AGO. EVERY PIECE OF MY INFORMATION was compromised: name, dob, ssn, medical diagnosis, treatments, meds AND BILLING including CC#. Currently investigating Class Action. ALL politicians need to participate in holding these multi-million-dollar corporations financially accountable from breach. Not after “IF” I suffer as a result. Right now, somebody could be creating a “ME” and commit massive fraud/crime in a different country. If it cost these companies ONE MILLION DOLLARS per person whose data was compromised, we’d have the most secure companies on the planet overnight. Absolute garbage.

Denta Quest is the worst insurance company that I have ever dealt with. I submitted a claim in May of 2026 which was denied due to a NPI number mismatch. Come to find out that Denta Quest has been using an old database showing the wrong number. Once this was discovered they still did not pay my claim. I have spent countless hours on the phone with them only to get the run around. I have asked to speak with a supervisor only to have no one call me. I have emailed them with no response. Run! Run fast! Stay far away from this company. There are better alternatives out there.

I only wish you allowed a "0" star rating! One star is too high for this company! Horrible customer service. Making a payment is nearly impossible on the app or on the website. setting up auto payments on site does not work! Phone wait times are over one hour. Horrible, just horrible!

I received this plan through mySCAN Medicare plan and it says that it is a comprehensive dental plan. Unfortunately, when I went to the dentist that accepted the insurance I found out that there were two bitewing x-rays and a cleaning with an exam that were included. unfortunately, the Dentist won’t see you without approximately $350 worth of x-rays so I am just returning to my old dentist to pay out-of-pocket as this service is useless

I keep getting voicemail messages from DentaQuest. I want them to stop calling. I am homebound, chronically ill and a senior citizen. I cannot leave to have a dental appointment at this time. I have debilitating anxiety and this just increases it. Please stop contacting me!!

I would stay away from them. I’ve never actually done business with them, but mail was coming from them to my PO Box to someone I’d never heard of. So I called them, thinking they might want to correct their records or try to contact the customer. They didn’t even want the person’s name. They just told me to throw it away. That’s apparently how much they care!
