aarp/delta dental is the WORST dental company I have ever dealt with. they took my money for 3 years and now I find out that there is not one endodontist in their plan in my area. I called 40 endodontists and NONE OF THEM ACCEPT DELTA DENTAL HMO. I have been trying to resolve this issue for 15 days and none of them care, I need root canal and NO NOW CAN DO IT because none of them accept THE HMO. EVERYONE SHOULD stay away from aarp/delta dental hmo. as far as I am concerned, its a financial scam...

I had been looking for dental insurance for some time. At first I was pleased that the agent, Manuel Centeno was helpful in guiding me to select a policy. But when I made an appointment with my dentist and they tried to find my policy they couldn’t. I called Mr. Centeno to ask for clarification on all the information to get the insurance cleared, he was helpful but curt and somewhat condescending in his manner. I called back a second time and asked if he could contact my dentist directly to clear up the insurance issue because for a second time they could not find me with the information given. He did call my dentist and my dentist said he was extremely rude to them. And then I called him and not only was he rude and abrupt with me, but he implied that I was incompetent and giving all the wrong information to the Dental office. I don’t think Mr. Centeno realizes that it’s people like me that keep him employed. Maybe I’m just one small ACcount but This experience left me feeling disconcerted I actually wanted to cancel my policy on the spot…After he was rude to me I thought of letting it go but when they told me at the dental office that he was rude to them I had to write this. Suggestion to dentalinsurance.com: train your staff, agents, and representatives to be polite and courteous to consumers!

Lied to about coverage for crowns! Told representative what I wanted and failed to get coverage for more than office visit with deductible a only moderate coverage. Expensive for nothing.

If I could give no stars, I would. I called the number and when I started giving my policy ID number, the lady was VERY rude and started saying Mam, Mam, Mam - over me. She then proceeded to tell me that I was giving her my driver's license #!!! I was giving her my Aetna insurance ID, which happens to be all letters. She could not have been more rude and belittling!!

The worst service ever, this lady I don’t even remember her name, the rudest person I’ve ever known, I do not recommend this!!

The first broker put the wrong billing address in my file, when a rate increase of $6.00 went unpaid (from my autopay credit card), the policy was canceled. Although a notice was mailed, since the broker had erred in the address, the notice was returned. Delta made no other attempts at contact even though they had my phone number and email address. They refused to re-instate the police and re enrollment lost my accrued benefits even those it was determined that this was entirely the fault of the Broker and the insurer. Very poor customer service. I'd advise to shop elsewhere.

I am so confused as to what I purchased.
