Cool shoes, inaccurate size chart, slow returns.
I ordered a pair of shoes about 3 weeks ago, and picked the size based on the websites size chart. The shoes I received were the same US size I ordered, but the EU size is 1½ sizes larger than what the size chart says they should be. So, they are way too large for me. I returned them to exchange for the right size, so I opted for store credit, vs a refund. The site FAQ's says that store credits are issued when the warehouse receives the return, and the return instructions in the return approval email says 3-5 days after they receive the return to get a refund or store credit. Once my return arrived back at their warehouse, I got an email saying that it would be 7-9 days to process and get a refund or store credit. By that point, it would have been over a month since I initially ordered my shoes, and I still question why the estimates kept changing. I did email customer service about the size chart discrepancy for the style I ordered after I received the shoes, and they responded very quickly with the correct measurements. I emailed again, a few days after they got my return, after I noticed the discrepancy in the time frame estimates for refunds and store credit. I haven't received a reply, but I did get my store credit the next day. I opted for priority shipping instead of standard shipping when I reordered the right size shoes. This made a huge difference in how quickly my order was shipped, and how quickly I received it. My order was shipped same day, and I received it 2 days later. The shoes look good, and fit well. The slow refund and credit process can also a problem, though, because of how quickly the most popular shoe styles and sizes sell out. The shoes I ordered are on sale, and they won't be restocked once they sell out. It's very likely for one to lose the opportunity to get the right size shoes, when that style might sell out before one can get a credit for a return. It shouldn't be necessary, but in the future I guess I'll email first for measurements before I place an order, and pay for priority shipping instead of standard shipping. If it helps avoid all of the issues above, it's probably worth it.
