I just had a new AC unit installed; an independent pump was supposed part of the installation. They didn't put it in, lied and said they did, then lied again and said it was refunded. All I want is to have the job completed and I can't have any response, not from the Salesman, Tony or the GM, Mark.

Hi Del-air no good
Hi, I’ve had del-air do at least 7 seperate A/C jobs for me in the last 11 yrs. I had complete trust in them til recently. I had them do my last one January 16 2026. I’m in the process of selling my home and my closing is in 14 days. I’ve been calling and leaving message with Del-air with them always saying someone will call me back. They did my system and applied for a permit and never followed thru with the inspection and now the permit has expired so now I’m having to asked the city to pls open the permit not knowing if it’s going to be open and if it is I have to pay monies I already paired to have permit reopen if I’m lucky and they open it so then I can have the A/C inspected so I can move on with my closing. Del-air customer service sucks I’ve literally talked to over a dozen different people in the last 2 weeks and nothings helped. With all the money I’ve spent with them it didn’t help me at all. This last system which was paused in full(13,000.00). Don’t pay them til permit is close and if they don’t like it go somewhere else. One of there reps told me there’s hundreds of people in the same boat as me. I still don’t even know what I’m paying all I know is that it’s 25% of some amount or 1000.00. GO SOME ELSE BEFORE U BUY AN A/C SYSTEM FROM THEM. Santiago Parra ORLANDO

First appointment
First appointment, they showed up 2 hours early. Luckily, I was home. The Tech had no clue what time I had actually scheduled. $800 later, my AC still wasn't repaired or diagnosed because they lacked the proper equipment. The Tech arranged to come back around 8:30 am the next day to finish the diagnosis/repair....No call/No show. Not a great start for a first time customer. I'll take my money elsewhere!

Del-Air Free HVAC Maintenance Offer
I purchase my home brand new in 2006. Del-Air was the company that did the installations for the new homes. In 2015 I had to replace the entire unit. On a routine maintenance, the technician did return the drainage pipe, and it leaked with the ceiling of the garage. Then recently I received an email from Del-Air that they are offering free HVAC maintenance, and if I wanted to schedule an appointment? I said what is the catch? The response was nothing! I scheduled for 8/13. Two technicians showed Riley and Cody. At the end of their evaluation, they said I needed a new unit, because any day now it could stop working, due to it leaking Freon. Mind you, the same unit has been running, without any issues. As a matter of fact, I turn off my unit 1am the same day, and they showed up after 2pm and the house was still cool. My husband was flying back home, so I said I will speak with him about it. They want to know if I can call him, I said no, he is flying home. They made it seem like my AC system was on life support. After they left, my AC was not cooling the same. My husband said he is going to get a second opinion. Early on 8/14 Cody called to find out, and again saying the system might last another week for the most, and he is not trying to scare me, but it is a fact. We honestly believe they did something, like drain the Freon. Even if the second opinion says we need a new system, it will definitely not be purchased from De-Air.

Absolutely the worst company I have…
Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with! They are dishonest. When booking a service appointment, they will tell you a time window that is never true; they want to make you happy and lie to make you think you are on the schedule when, in fact, they do not confirm you. Instead, they move techs around to accommodate installations rather than deal with service calls. I had Del-Air visit my home more than 12x in one year for the same unit, which, by the way, was only 2 years old. Every time they came, they told it was a different problem, and 9 out of 10 times they made us pay for additional components; it was never free. Again, I will repeat: BRAND NEW SYSTEM LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD AND THEY VISITED MY HOME MORE THAN 12 TIMES TO FIX ISSUES.

They replaced my system for $12,000
They replaced my system for $12,000. Hours after they left, it was making a high-pitched whining sound. That went on for two days when I finally got the technician to come back. That was not the technician that did the install. The technician found some paper lodged inside the machine, and when the fan motor kicked on, it caused such a vacuum inside that it made a very high-pitched whining sound. Then somehow during the install they put the wrong breaker box on and they were supposed to come back and fix it. As of August 11, 2026 it has been almost a month and a half, with multiple calls to their AI answering service as well as actually getting a Person one time, who said that a manager would be calling. They never did and it’s still not fixed. There is some concern that with the wrong breaker box it could lead to a house, fire, or short, or burn the system out. Our next step is to see about taking them to court. I strongly advise not using this company. Their customer service is absolutely the worst I’ve ever seen.

DO NOT CHOOSE DELAIR....
If there a negative star rating I would give to Del Air.
Most horrible service, most unprofessional.
Just got 2 new ACs for our home in Orlando.
Worst Installation ever
Wall damages, marks everywhere on walls and ceiling near attic. Worst of all, water leakage from attic AC location yesterday, water all over walls and carpets.
now they won't even attend to our urgent service request to fix this, most horrible company and quite unprofessional.

I only gave them one star so I could…
I only gave them one star so I could write this review. They don’t even deserve one star. I have a contract with them to service my a/c unit. I had a problem with my drain line so I gave them a call. They poured something though the line and vacuumed it out and charged me $294.40 for this. I disputed the charge’s because I felt it was too high. They promised to check on it and get back with me. It’s been almost 4 weeks and they keep ignoring my phone calls and send me to voicemail. Do not use Del Air. They have no respect for their customers and their impossible to reach.
