DTG reaches out to customers about a delay in the delivery of the Hera Silverback. Imaging That?!
In response to DTG's message as to why the Hera Silverback is delayed. Dear Koda and DTG Team, What is to follow is our (my wife Tree and I) response to the consummately quintessential professionalism that we have been treated to, over the entirety of our interactions with your guys!!! To be clear, DTG is the best...we (my wife and I) love Koda, and the DTG team is superlative for exactly the reason why you are reaching out; seamless communication, and other overtures that reflect how DTG values its customers. Like no other GoldBack, SilverBack, or other precious metal distributor that we know of. Yup, DTG is the 'APEX' of the industry's 'ATLAS'!!! That puts you NOT only at the front of the line...but above it as well; delivering an unexpected dividend; the bird's eye view of where we might be going, and who is the likely leader to take us there...DTG. Any entity's most precious asset is not its products, inventory, or its P/L analysis...nope it's their people!!! Make NO mistake, those people also include your customers...the downstream, last step in the delivery of your mission promise...we, the customer(s) are in a position to provide invaluable feedback to the 'mothership'; which we have, and responsiveness is also second to none! Case in point? Here is my feedback...why? Because we care for and about DTG just as they have cared for and about us since the inception of our business with Koda and DTG. Good thoughts, articulate speech, and carefully and elegantly crafted use of the written lexicon (as in advertisements) are all well and good...but, in essence? These mean nothing; zilch; zero; 'on empty' if not translated into what it is that you actually do...want to verify the true purposeful intention of a person or an enterprise? Watch what they do, and spend less time wondering, listening, and reading...instead, observe whether these antecedents are actualized...such as when things are NOT triumphant, but rather when things get tough, challenging, and hiccups, errors occur, etc. It's one thing to send such a message; and an abundant expansion of its authenticity and good faith when you also take responsibility, along with characterizing why the protracted wait (which by the way, is NO big deal to Tree and I, but may be to others), and that it in no way reflects the typical and dedicated logistical expectations of DTG on behalf of their customers. Such is validated by virtue of the actuarial data whereby customer commitments, since the inception of my doing business with DTG, have always been in alignment with what DTG has delivered; excellence at every level, and at every step in the process. PERFECTION? NO, as such, is often the enemy of 'good enough', where the latter is nothing average, but instead ranks as A++++. Even GOD has defaults in place where corrections are available when. there is deviation from what is required. A prima fasciae example is when during the conversion of mRNA into protein (i.e. what we call translation), on occasion the triplet nucleotide bases (the codon) can be incorrect for culling out the next amino acid indicated in order to ensure the accurate assembly of such, ensuring both structural and functional integrity of that protein. When such a mistake is detected, then a process referred to as 'wobble' facilitates the activation of a kind of default switch thereby allowing an imperfect choice of codon to still result in the addition of the correct amino acid. What do all of the guarantees, intentions, and underscoring how an entity values their customers mean, if such has no substance, and that entity's behavior is conspicuously salient for demonstrating the opposite to what has been promised. This kind of cognitive and communication dissonance is an indictment upon very poor business practice, and reflects directly upon leadership at the top...the very top, and the natural 'laws' which then predispose for such to trickle down to those in the organization....influencing the team responsible for the execution of that company's defined logistics. Further, when there is a dedication-disconnect starting at the top, those below will ask; "If leadership does NOT take our approach, methods, and customer promises seriously, then why should we/I? I need not proceed further. Why? Because DTG, at least to us, is the emblematic poster-child for how it ought to be done. PERIOD. Gratefully, Elliot and Tree
