What happened to Defender? No one answers their phones anymore. I have called, and stayed on hold for an hour during work hours - multiple times, on multiple days. I think Defender has become mainly a mail order company since the buyout, and I am often seeing their prices higher than West Marine, Hamilton Marine, Landfall etc.. They are no longer a boater's best friend. Sad.

I’ve owned three offshore jackets over the years and the Gill OS1 sold here is the best at this price point. Wore it through a rough passage overnight on Chesapeake in October and it sustained rain and 20 knot gusts. Shipping was quick, faster than estimated.
