Here are some facts:
- removal men arrived in no uniform, unmarked vans with NO equipment (nothing to protect carpets/ stairs or shoes) no trolleys for heavy items. No equipment to dismantle furniture despite saying they would dismantle and reassemble.
- removal men spoke limited English, couldn’t read box labels
- observed them dropping heavier items, clearly no training or care
- office manager is initially charming but aggressive, will go in low price to lure you in and add cost later.
- workers force a review at the end making you scan the code asking for 5 stars hence the good google reviews.
Do not use this company, ask about their staffs right to work
If you read this review well done for doing some research.Do not use them

Cannot take No Thank you for an answer
Despite telling these people I do not require their services or a quote they ring me 2-3 times a day and leave a silent message. I have had to block their number because of the ongoing harassment.
This has gone on for 3 weeks now.

So basically, we paid £15 for this lead through Get a Mover, and we were supposed to contact you regarding your move. The only reason we reached out was to try and recover the £15 we paid for the lead.
We’ve asked you to remove your information from the website so that we don’t continue receiving the lead or contacting you unnecessarily. Get a Mover is the company that charges us for these leads, so that’s really all there is to it.
Anyway, we hope your move went smoothly, and we wish you all the best!

I found it interesting this company took so long to comment and this is their comment I could not reply to: Reply from Deen Removals and Storage LTD

We have searched our records thoroughly and have no record of any customer, booking, or move matching this account or identity. We suspect this is a fraudulent review intended to extort or slander our business. We take false claims seriously and have reported this profile to the platform for removal.
Interesting when I have a trail of evidence from the company that I am a real client, photos of the move and they moved my goods internationally so customs declations. Further proof they are not to be trusted. I have put a complaint to Trustpilot about their comments and ludicrous claims.

Bad service, Worst experience
A person who runs this business is not paying his workers. He owns one van and takes on large jobs by using subcontractors.
He does not complete jobs on time and deliberately prolongs them to ask for more money.
One of his subcontractors is now demanding payment for work completed, but he is refusing to pay.

Running a hands-on, hard-working business means taking pride in quality work—and standing firm when expectations aren't met.
This review is nothing more than a personal attack following a refusal to pay for unfinished, substandard work. We pay our contractors fairly and on time when the job is done right. We do not, however, pay for incomplete jobs or give in to online threats when work falls short.
Our track record, our work ethic, and our satisfied clients speak for themselves.

NOT the service you are expecting - DO NOT use this company
Trusted this Company to move me from a three bedroomed home to a smaller accommodation. My complaint is against the Company and Customer Service which is none existent. They promise one thing, and resorted to doing the least on the day, demanding extra fees for more boxes, and hiding behind the small print of the contract.
Promised Packers only for one person arrive to condense a three bedroomed home, under stairs cupboard, large kitchen and garage into boxes - too large a task for one person! My issue is not with the Packer, but the company, who thinks this is acceptable because they claim he was a professional packer??
Charged for extra boxes - despite doing a video walkthrough prior. When challenged was told to go and buy the boxes myself or pay the fee quoted - leaving me no, or little choice on the moving day!
2 small vans arrived on the day - none uniformed staff - van unmarked. This was not the advertisement I bought into.
No resolution, and could never speak to the same person or whoever I done the original booking with again. Unconvincing names used.
Poor service, offering no genuine resolution, or acceptance of wrongdoing. The offer of 1/2 price removal the next time I use them again is cheeky, as I would never trust, recommend or use them again!
Not the cheapest Firm that I had contacted, yet the advertisement and promises were the reasons to go ahead and use them. The job was done on the cheap!
Unacceptable and inappropriate customer service.
I will never recommend or use this cowboy outfit again - they are not what they so cleverly advertise to be.

We strongly dispute this review as it does not accurately reflect what happened on the day of the move.
All terms and conditions were clearly provided prior to booking. These included details about additional key waiting charges, extra wardrobe boxes if required beyond the quoted amount, and restricted items such as alcohol, paint, and certain liquids that we are unable to transport for safety and insurance reasons. These conditions were outlined in writing before the move.
On the day, additional wardrobe boxes were required beyond what was shown during the video survey. As explained in our terms, extra packing materials are chargeable if they exceed the quoted allowance. The client was given the option to supply her own boxes or proceed with ours at the agreed rate — this was not a last-minute demand, but a standard policy clearly stated .
The suggestion that staff were unprofessional or that the job was “done on the cheap” is simply not true. The move was completed successfully, and all agreed services were delivered. We always aim to provide a high standard of service and operate transparently within our contractual terms.
It is disappointing to receive a review that we believe contains false allegations. We take our reputation seriously and keep detailed records of all communications. If necessary, we are fully prepared to provide documentation to clarify the facts.
We remain open to constructive dialogue, but we cannot accept claims that are inaccurate or misleading.

Absolutely terrible service and completely unreliable.
An absolutely terrible experience with this company.
They conducted a video assessment of our house and provided a quote; as we had a lot of belongings it was a day to pack and a day to load and move. Team to be on site between 8-9am on day one. Two 5.5 tonne trucks on day 2.
Despite me phoning and checking all was ok the day before, THEY DID NOT TURN UP on the packing day, and when I called them I got different reasons as to why… technical issues with their system, wrong day booked…. Huge red flag. I’m told they will have ‘3 or 4’ people turning up. That’s a bit vague for my liking, so I pressed ‘Sarah’ for the exact number. 3 people.
Midday arrives and two people arrive. Another red flag.
Lovely guys, very relaxed. They get on and start packing. No issues with these two, get on with the job. Boxes packed and stacked, marked up and ready to go.
They look around at all the belongings and say this is a four van job, not two. They call their boss.
‘Sarah’ calls back, waffles a bit and tells me I need to pay another £800 as they’ll need another 5.5 tonne lorry. I’m not happy (Bait and Switch anyone?); they reviewed and quoted, they are supposed to be the experts, it’s on them to get it right. However I also need to move, so I’ll compromise. She won’t do this so I ask to speak to the boss. He calls, on the charm offensive.
He dismisses the need for four lorries, saying the packing guys don’t know how to estimate. Huge red flag when the boss doesn’t trust his team. He’s wrong but I’m not going to argue, I’ve got a backup plan in my head. So fine. We make a deal on the third lorry, and agree an 8am start. My backup plan kicks in; it’s clear I HAD TO HIRE MY OWN LUTON VAN, at 4.30pm the day before moving (Thank you Enterprise!) and my 14 year old son and I pack most of the garage workshop items; a full lorry load. Moving day arrives and four guys rock up at 8.30 in two vehicles; one 3.5 tonne, one 5.5 tonne. Very relaxed. Two more arrive with another 3.5 tonne lorry; I’m not even surprised anymore that they are pulling a fast one with the van sizes. I’ve told them we need to be out by midday. No problem apparently. They crack on moving boxes, all good, bunch of nice guys. They flag the fact i’ve emptied most of the garage. They think they have ample capacity in their trucks. The hours tick on. We’re not going to hit the 12 o’clock deadline. I’m on the phone to the estate agents and solicitors covering that off. The team tell me another two hours. At 1pm they tell me they need another lorry, or can we empty a lorry at the new house and they can return?. I explain that we haven’t got the keys yet as we haven’t moved out of our current house…
The estate agents help out a lot to get things sorted; we get keys for the new house and get our own loaded van over and unpacked ourselves.. Meanwhile Deen tell me they’ve got another van heading in from London to get the last load.
We finally get everything packed and vacate by 3pm. Highly, highly stressful.
Moving stuff in to the new house was pretty straightforward. Finally all done.
I would never, ever, in a million years recommend this company. The hard-working guys on the ground are ok (although not uniformed as per the contract) but the management team are not honest, reliable or professional.
Pay more and go elsewhere.

We are truly sorry that you feel this way about your experience.
First of all, we have apologised to you multiple times — more than 10 times — regarding the technical error on our system which caused the date not to be updated correctly. We fully acknowledged that mistake was from our end and sincerely regret the inconvenience it caused.
Regarding the packing crew, the original plan was to send 3–4 staff members (2 professional packers and 2 helpers). However, we sent 2 professional packers, and they packed 100 boxes in 3 hours ,as you had specifically confirmed that experienced professionals were your priority. As you mentioned yourself, they worked efficiently, packed everything properly, and completed the job to a good standard.
Concerning the comment that it was a “4 van job,” the team on site were packing crew members, not vehicle estimators. Final decisions about vehicle capacity are always handled by management based on loading experience and space optimisation.
In terms of vehicles, we provided:
• 2 × 5.5 tonne trucks
• 1 × 3.5 tonne truck
• Plus an additional round trip and additional crews in total of 8 crews.
All of this was arranged for a total of £600 extra, which effectively covered labour costs only. The company absorbed the remaining operational expenses from our own side as a courtesy gesture because of the earlier date issue. This was done in good faith to ensure your move was completed. And the move was completed before 5pm with reassembling which shows the efforts made from our end
You chose us based on our competitive rates — and as with any removal service, the number and size of vehicles directly impact pricing. Fewer vehicles mean lower cost. Despite the unexpected adjustments on the day, we believe £600 for an additional truck and round trip was a fair and reasonable charge under the circumstances.
We understand moving home is stressful, and we are sorry it felt overwhelming. However, we did everything possible on the day to complete your move, including covering significant additional costs internally.
