They were not clear about their 10.9% fee
I called the number Debt Clear USA provided through my email after an online application and I talked with an Americor specialist. She said that I had a great credit score and would be a better option for me to have a personal loan instead of a debt relief program. She collected my information and she was evasive when I tried to understand better their work or if I needed to pay some extra fee for their help. When she transferred me to another person that checked my information again, then I received an email with a contract of their consultation service and agreement of their fee. It was a 10.9% fee on the top of the total amount I needed to quit my debt, which was an extra $2,834 over my $26,000 total debt. It is a lot for a person that is having a hardship with a divorce process and wanted help to relieve a debt, not make extra debt on this program. I just wanted to let you guys know it was not a good experience for me. If the Americor specialist was clear since the beginning with their fee, I would not waste my or her time over the phone. Supposedly, it should relieve and not increase my debt.
