Zach dives head-first into current data-engineering cases and patterns, dispensing the heavy textbook theory in favor of actionable guidance. The lectures are on-point, and go deep into the how and the why of the techniques being taught. Be prepared to pause the lectures a lot; he covers a lot of ground in each lecture. The techniques taught are more modern that the usual generalized examples in books. These are a great way to get some perspective on decades old problems at scale.
