I've been with DE Academy for about 1-2 months. I'm coming from a healthcare background and am extremely new to coding. I like that there are steps that help guide and teach you what you need to know. There is a lot of support and resources which is helpful when you know little to nothing. They also provide a lot of support outside of coding itself: interviews, resumes, etc. Everyone is very friendly and excited for you to learn. I'd say my experience is generally positive & you will learn something. I feel at times that it almost assumes you know how to do some of the more advanced steps without teaching you. If you don't like hour long videos of someone just showing code without pictures or diagrams, this is not for you.

I'm just starting out in data with Data Engineer Academy, and Stefan is my Customer Success Manager. He seems like a nice guy who is intent on helping me be successful, so that makes me happy. I look forward to getting work in the industry thanks to Stefan's efforts. Fingers crossed.

Great community and you get what you put in. It requires work, if you’re a lazy exec that writes a 1 star review because you’re complaining about money then maybe it’s not for you because this is ultimately an investment in yourself. The success team and coaches are helpful and great I recommend if you want to not go to school and get yourself in a winning position.
