Data Engineer AcademyReviews of dataengineeracademy.com

I just completed and passed the Mini SQL Mock Interview at Data Engineer Academy. The experience was very helpful because it gave me a chance to practice solving SQL problems in an interview setting rather than just working through them on my own. The interviewer provided clear and constructive feedback on both my technical approach and areas where I can improve. The mock session helped me better understand how to structure my thinking, explain my solutions, and identify gaps in my preparation. Overall, it was a great practical experience that increased my confidence and gave me a better idea of what to expect in actual Data Engineering interviews. I would highly recommend Data Engineer Academy to anyone preparing for technical interviews or anyone thinking of breaking into Data Engineering.

So far this seems a legit training program and is very extensive and practical. They are engaged in your learning and keep you accountable. I am not to the finish yet with project portfolio and Job placement help but So far ... it is 5 star.

All Staff, Coaches, and SME are amazing and know their role to help succeed. Love the step plan and strategic procedure. Questions are addressed and everyone is there to help you through the journey to succeed.

The job application team is currently assisting with my job search by identifying opportunities and submitting applications. Communication is ongoing, and they provide updates as positions become available. The process is structured, and they continue to support my efforts in exploring potential career opportunities.

After a tough job search, Data Engineering Academy helped me get across the finish line. What stood out was the consistency — regular check-ins, real accountability, and people who genuinely stayed engaged with my progress at every stage. I want to call out a few people by name who made a difference: Chris, Milada, Nikola, Ninad, Kajal, Kalidasa, Kareem, Rade, Rishov, and Stefan. Each of them brought something to the table. Highly recommend if you're serious about breaking into or leveling up in data engineering.

Data Engineer Academy is the real deal! I had a unique situation in that i didn't have a tech background, but have a management background and had a solid working knowledge of computer language and so on. I was able to explain what I was looking to do and I was please to find that they had a path for someone like me that wants to move into more a manager role in tech, by way of a TPM or technical project manager discipline. I like the fact that you have frequent check ins to be able to discuss your progress and as well as group sessions that you can attend if your schedule permits. That is just the tip of the iceberg with all of the resources that they offer. The best part is that you gain or enhance your sill set in a way that makes you very attractive in the marketplace.

My experience has been very good so far. The structure and curated curriculum was all I needed. Also, after every completed section, the confidence to know that I am proficient in that topic gives me a good boost. There is always willingness from the team to help and there is accountability from them to me to stick to the plan and trust the process. You are nudged to be successful and my questions are answered as much as they can. So all in all, it has been nice. For anyone entering the program, you need to understand what they offer and not mix it up with what you think they should offer. This is a mostly self-motivated self-study program and you need to understand that you have to put in the hours and work hard towards being successful. You also need to be willing to leverage other resources that could help in one or two sub-topics to fully grasp the concepts and little details that could complete your understanding of that topic.

Responsive team, good application support so far. Recruiter calls and assessments have been steady. The next milestone for me is real interviews , that's what I joined for and I'm trusting the team to help me get there. Communication is clear, they follow through. Will update the review once interviews start coming in.
