We are a paying brokerage customer of DAT and have repeatedly reported what appears to be excessive duplicate posting by another brokerage. We have sent at least four complaints with screenshots and specific examples. DAT has told us they were “working with the carrier,” yet the activity has continued and increased. On 9/29 we documented 56 postings involving the same freight/lane group. On the morning of 9/30 we initially documented 52, and shortly afterward that number increased to 67. Multiple representatives of the same brokerage are posting repeated variations from surrounding origin cities to the same destinations.
Our concern is not simply another brokerage’s behavior. Our concern is DAT’s apparent lack of enforcement and communication after repeated documented complaints. Paying customers should be able to expect consistent enforcement of load-board rules. If every brokerage posted the same freight dozens of times from surrounding cities, the board would quickly become unusable.
We have asked DAT to escalate this internally and explain what action is being taken, but as of this review we have not received a meaningful resolution.

This is not a good LOAD Board for new…
This is not a good LOAD Board for new Authority, I made so many phone calls to the brokers and was told. They don't work with new Authority, so why waste my money for this LOAD Board when is worthless. Really disappointed. And don't recommend it. Technically is only to view loads and pay money for something that won't work until the Authority is 6 months . No Thank you. My month subscription is in the trash. Avoid it,

Avoid hiring an outside dispatcher and easily truck dispatch from home with the DAT load board, the largest freight marketplace in the industry.

I pay for the pro load board but I think they jacked my algorithm up because loads posted are extremely low.

Lack of Professionalism
We are a husband-and-wife operation. Just one driver. Working from our home while we try to start a large enough business to sustain our family. We worked with a representative from DAT to establish our authority back in October and November of 2024. The representative we connected with, Kerry Puff, was knowledgeable and informative, and she was beyond helpful in the first stage of the process. This is where the customer service completely fell off of the ledge. We were just a few weeks into being active, sitting at home in front of our computers, trying to familiarize ourselves with the load board, as we were brand new and not quite sure what we were looking at. We had not yet booked a load, as we were too new for anyone to work with us. We lost access to the load board randomly, and after waiting until the morning to be able to speak with someone, we were advised that we were banned from using their services permanently. The explanation was that they believed that we were using some sort of service to scan the load board. I'm assuming, based off of their explanation, that they were attempting to avoid fraudulent carriers from being able to access their services. We asked that the access to service be reviewed and offered to provide any proof necessary that we were not using any such service. Being that we established our authority directly through their services and were directly in communication with a representative of their company through the entire process, we believed that the review would be favorable and waited the allotted time. The representative that reached out to us had the least amount of professionalism that I've encountered in a long time. Her demeanor was downright nasty, and she was confidently incorrect in her assessment that we were operating fraudulently. Instead of reviewing the details, she seemed intent on attacking our personal character. If as much effort was put in to blocking actual fraudulent accounts, as it was to demean legitimate companies, their success rate in reducing fraud on the platform would be much higher. After researching for the past year and a half, I've realized this problem appears to be far too common. We've been successful in building our business through other platforms and are proud to say that we're currently looking at expanding our fleet. At this point, due to the lack of professionalism and common courtesy, I wouldn't do business with them if it was an option. There are far too many viable options if you are willing to put in the work.
