DanessamyricksbeautyReviews of danessamyricksbeauty.com

Absolutely terrible customer service. My order told me free shipping, so I clicked apple pay. Then I was charged a hefty $52 US shipping, that was converted to CDN dollars... so incredibly expensive to say the least. I immediately try to cancel my order, but of course they don't give their customers the liberty to cancel their orders, so you have to email/submit a cancel order form, however, they don't seem to take these seriously or deal with them in a timely manner, and therefore you're left stranded. The reviews of this companies customer service is actually terrible. I will never purchase from this company ever again. Terrible company.

They do not issue refunds or replacements. I received the wrong shade and they did nothing to rectify this. The makeup it self did not go on smoothly. It looks thick, like you are wearing a ton of make up.

First, the product does not live up to the hype. More upsetting are the charges after purchase. I had an order paid in full, delivered in full in early February. One month later a $35 charge. Got that cleared up, and now have a $20 charge to my account. They do not have the courtesy to respond to issues submitted via their website and no phone number to call, BEWARE!!!

There is a scam site /danessamyricksbeautyshop That is perpetuating as the legit website. danessamyricksbeauty is the true site with WONDERFUL products!! It’s my favorite of all my foundation products!

I bought some of the liquid foils because of the claim that they are waterproof and longwearing. I have watery eyes so everything I buy has to be waterproof. These are clearly not, the glitter particles end up inside my eye which is incredibly annoying. I contacted customer service and after several days they responded I should use an eye primer (which I use) and never responded again to my replies. I opened another ticket and basically told me: tough luck, the 30 days for returns have passed. Of course they passed, since they didn't answer my previous emails. If I lived in the US I would have filed a claim for false information. I do not recommend ever purchasing directly on their site, or purchasing from them in general tbh.

I purchased four chrome flake colors from the website. Two came in fine, two came in dried up and idk expired or something. I reached out to the brand and they asked for a video, then they directed me to the return site. The return site was really annoying to use but I processed my return and asked for replacements that weren't dried up or expired. They sent me replacements from the exact same batch code with the same problem. Those I've now had to throw away. The ones that aren't dried up are GORGEOUS. But I don't trust them to handle issues in the future. I'll look for a similar product elsewhere, or get them in Sephora where I know I can get good customer service as well as great products.

I purchased YUMMY SKIN BLURRING BALM POWDER UNIVERSAL at Sephora…I had a color match, when the lady was applying I noticed a smell….a familiar smell but couldn’t figure out what it was…this morning I was applying my new YUMMY SKIN BLURRING BALM POWDER UNIVERSAL, it feels so nice, slippy, slick, dries down to powder, looks beautiful on the skin…but that smell…I then found this familiar smell…gasoline, it smells like gasoline, to me…I’m not saying this product has gasoline, I’m saying, it smells to me like gasoline…there’s probably an ingredient that smells like it…I gave YUMMY SKIN BLURRING BALM POWDER UNIVERSAL a 4 star because of the smell….

Never received my package and when I contacted customer support they were dismissive and said because I didn’t add the extra insurance they would not help. Legally when you pay for a product you should receive it. Not sure why they feel they don’t have to honor non delivery. I will get my money back when I dispute it with my credit card however it’s a shame the DM team didn’t handle it correctly and ethically. To sustain any longevity in business it’s a basic principle to be honest. DO NOT TRUST Danessa Myricks.
