Outrageously unexpected and unauthorized charges were made by Dancebit. I see I was charged on January 6,2026 225.13 (158.94 American with conversion to Canadian dollars). Looking back at my charges I realize I was charged this amount on October 6, 2025. I got this app with a free trial. I used it April, May and June 2025 Then once in August 2025. I have not used it since. I had no idea I had been charged $550.26 during months I was not even using it. When researching any expected monthly charges it indicates maybe $29.95 monthly. I did not knowingly agree to this excessive fee for a service I was not using. I immediately went to the app subscription and cancelled. They offered severely reduced rates to keep me as a customer. Not a chance I want to stay with a company that would fraudulently charge. I had stopped using it because of regular annoying technical glitches. I feel I have been cheated and taken advantage of by sneaky tactics.

I wish I'd seen the reviews previously to save myself from the terrible experience with dancebit but I hope by leaving a review it may at least help others from rising their money with them. I signed up to a 7 day trial on the app. I tried it once and knew immediately it wasnt for me. it was very amateurish and not what i personally found motivating or fun. I went on the app and unsubscribed immediately. I then had a family loss and didnt think about it again. Then i had a notification come up on my phone to say $100AUD had been taken. Even though it was terrible timing i went straight onto the app to see it wasnt showing as cancelled. I contacted dancebit immediately to say ive cancelled it again, could they please make sure this time it's cancelled properly and give a refund because i had already gone on the app and cancelled it in time and i was contacting them on the same day of their new billing and they could see i hadnt used the product since the one day during the trial period. That I didn't want the product. I thought I was safe doing a trial with no risk but it turns out having the time to read reviews is the only best practice and habit unfortunately as they refused to make the refund and just offered another 6 months of app subscription, which makes no sense when I needed my money not a product that i didn't like and wasn't going to use. I contacted the customer service help, and they refused to return the amount. And even offered me an extension of 6 month service. I didn't even used 1 day of the 7 days experience. I explained that was a mistaken subscription and that I need the money Back. If you decided to trial and it's not for you either, double and triple check your cancellation has gone through - don't trust the app, and don't rely on understand supportive customer service. It turns out unfortunately this is a common occurrence for them.

My under aged daughter subscribed, a 7 days trial on the app for me, we payed 7,99 eur. But without knowing she was subscribing a month, and yesterday I was charged 130 euros. I contacted the customer serviços help, and they refused to return the amount. And even offered me an extension of 6 month service. I didnt even used 1 day of the 7 days experience. I explained that was a mistaken subscription and that I need the money Back. I Will do everything to get my money Back! And this is a shitty customer service and shitty information to us when we try the Dancebit for the 7 days ( try out) because the subscription is automático without we know!! I Will complain until I have my money Back!!

I have fallen foul twice to subscription problems to Dancebit. They are gung-ho claiming different amounts from my bank account. Luckily some have been stopped by my bank security. Totally unacceptable. Advise not to engage with them.

Decided immediately after giving my credit card info that it was not for me. They said I had a free trial and I would be cancelled after my 3 months. I never opened an account or downloaded their app and they continually tried to keep me as a customer. I disputed the charge and they claim they gave me the service. No service was given. I declined any additional service they offered. There are many negative reviews as far as cancellation and customer service. They quit responding to my concerns.

Stay away from this app! They make cancelling a nightmare, so I sent an email cancelling the app. They gave me convoluted canceling "directions" then continued to charge me! They are unethical and deceiving.

I cancelled after the free trial and they continued to charge me for 5 months without authorization! £275 in total! It never showed up as an app subscription on my iphone - extremely misleading and confusing.

I cannot get the customer service bot to answer the actual question im asking. It keeps sending me the same message which isn't solving my problem. Im on a loop I can't get out of and can't find a phone number.
