Cymatics lures you in promising "Free Plug-Ins & Sample Packs," and then uses this in their live streams for more views, along with using this to their advantage to advertise their paid deals, even though they promise that things are going to be given out for free. Sure, they do give you free plug-ins, but you have to sit through HOURS of them yammering on & on about all their stuff, and they can literally just probably do everything in an hour or less, I have to say. I didn't mind at first, but then once I noticed that they were basically just forcing everyone to listen through a big advertisement after telling them that they would give their plug-ins away for free for a lure of sorts. I've even seen Thumbnails that say "Everything Free!" But then once I went to the page where they actually give their stuff away on that particular Stream, I could clearly see at least one deal that was a paid one. The last straw was when a recent live stream a few weeks back advertised free giveaways and whatnot, but it seemed like a more-than-usual amount of deals were paid, and then I saw probably the worst thing I've seen in a while; one of the deals was literally them trying to charge you $250.00 for a song feedback, only available to 5 individual people. What the hell?! That's obviously a really questionable idea. You can literally just put your songs that you want to have feedback on onto a major website like YouTube or Soundcloud, & ask for feedback on that song. Ever since then, I don't RVSP for their live streams anymore. If you're not only going to waste my time for hours on end, but also try to scam people & avoid their feedback like I've seen before, that's a red flag to me. Then lastly, there's the quality of the plug-ins. I do have to admit that I could be wrong on this, as pretty much every artist has their own unique opinions, so I'm going to start out saying that I like being an experimental ambient artist. From what I've used from Cymatics (Mainly Pandora & a Compressor named something like CL-72A or something like that, I don't remember) The compressors do sound relatively good, but it seems like I can easily get another better Compressor for free somewhere else easily. Also, from what I've heard from Cymatics, they say that it's been "Made by professional people and used by famous artists," but I doubt that. To be honest, their Samplepacks & Plug-ins sound very cheaply made, & all sound like the average free Samplepack or Plugin. Besides, you can probably find something sounding even better with most DAW Stock Files. I'm sure that other people have their opinions varied on Cymatics, but my experience is mostly negative. I've even seen their bulk offers getting more expensive than Omnisphere, even when it's a deal, if I remember correctly. Also, I'm pretty sure that some of those even takes up more space, along with the demos sounding worse than what I can get with Omnisphere.. For those offers, just save your money and get Omnisphere and/or Kontakt, if you don't have those already, if you were thinking about buying those things. If you do have them already though, see what you can do with it first before making up your mind getting any of the big packs from Cymatics. I wouldn't recommend Cymatics; I'd give it a one-star if there wasn't so much of a variation in between every music producer & their works. If you want to make cheap-sounding Pop and Hip Hop songs, consider Cymatics, but I have to say to look for any better alternatives to it. For music producers like me though? Don't even bother.

The filters do not work properly. On some presets they affect the sound, but on others they seem to be completely bypassed. For example, moving the filter all the way down does not always change the sound, even though it should drastically affect it. Changing the filter type can also result in either no sound or only specific frequency ranges being heard, while the frequency display still shows the full range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. There is also an inconsistent preset saving issue, where some sounds show “overwrite current preset” while others only show “save new preset”. Customer support is also very poor. Darien replies instantly when the question is simple, such as asking how to be removed from email subscriptions, but as soon as you ask a detailed question about actual plugin bugs, he completely stops replying. Judging by other reviews here, this does not seem to be an isolated experience. Overall, do not buy plugins from Cymatics. If something goes wrong, you will be left alone with an unfinished and unreliable product.

Don't trust this guy's offers. I accepted an offer with fine print for a dollar that subscribed me to an all-access pack after 10 days, all very cleverly designed to charge me $30 USD after 10 days. My fault for trusting him; I thought that as a producer he wouldn't do this kind of thing.

Great products but terrible after-sales service. I have been waiting for 2 months for the supposed "Gold USB" but after several non-responses to my query and failure to produce some form of shipping information I have to conclude that the stick was never sent or actually does not exist. They should allow us to download it at least. Waste of expensive shipping fees. They use very aggressive marketing tactics to create a false sense of urgency and exclusivity, but the 'once in a lifetime' products seem to still be available after the fact. Don't get caught up in the hype. Very disappointed Cymatics! You can do so much better.

I’ve been buying sample packs from Cymatics.fm for several years, so this review comes from real experience and long-term use. Cymatics definitely understands marketing. Their presentation, hype, and launches are extremely well done (at least in some cases). The sounds themselves are usually high-quality, when you buy a library, you can expect a few great samples, plus the extra value of MIDIs and stems that give producers more flexibility. The pricing feels fair based on the way they market these packs as exclusive and placement-ready, especially since the license lets you keep 100% of the earnings without having to credit them, even for major artists. But here’s why I’m giving only 2 stars, despite the sound quality: The “limited licenses” marketing isn’t honest. Cymatics constantly promotes packs with statements like “only 600 copies never again.” In reality, those sounds keep re appearing in future packs, sometimes slightly altered or with minimal FX added. Buyers who supported older releases frequently find the same material resurfacing. That destroys the whole concept of exclusivity and misleads customers. Missing or broken stems. I’ve received sample packs where certain stem files were empty or missing entirely. My most recent example: I was among the first 500 buyers and received the “gold USB” with bonus samples. One of the bonus samples I liked most was missing a stem inside the folder. When I contacted support, they simply told me “the samples come as they are” and gave me €15 store credit. No attempt to correct the mistake. That’s not acceptable when stems are part of what we pay for. Questionable launches and sudden removals. At one point, Cymatics advertised a very expensive “secret tricks” course on their website. The page looked unfinished, poorly structured, and overpriced for what it offered especially when YouTube covers most of that knowledge for free. Shortly after, the whole thing disappeared. Moves like that feel unprofessional and unreliable. Website quality issues. It’s common to see spelling mistakes, placeholder text, and pages that look like nobody reviewed them before publishing. Again unprofessional. Packs sold again after expensive “exclusive” purchases. I paid almost €300 for a pack that was marketed as extremely limited. Now that same pack is included inside a big bundle on their website. When customers pay high prices for rarity, and the company later re sells the same material, it destroys the value of the license and the trust in the brand. Growing negative sentiment in the producer community. More and more producers are complaining publicly about poor customer treatment, especially because of the misleading promises, lack of transparency, and marketing claims they don’t stick to. Their producer camps also gained negative feedback people paid and never got a real chance to present their music. Even a former co founder publicly stated that in house producers were treated poorly and that Cymatics repeatedly recycles old sample content. The whole move with taking over Producergrind didn’t help at all. If anything, it hurt the Cymatics brand because it feels like they stopped focusing on their own platform and started spreading themselves too thin. Instead of elevating either brand, it feels like samples and material are simply being pushed back and forth. The whole “limited license” model makes even less sense now. Cymatics used to be a strong, exciting brand. They still could recover if they returned to their original principles quality, honesty, and respect for their customers. But right now, it feels like the only priority is fast money, constant recycling, and endless upsells, and the new “mega bundle” releases full of supposedly discontinued packs honestly feel like a last cash-grab from material people already paid high prices for because of the promised limited licenses. It almost gives the impression they want to squeeze whatever they can before things fall apart. After years of loyalty, I now avoid their releases. The hype is gone, the exclusivity became meaningless, customer service doesn’t solve real issues, and the company keeps undermining the value of the products people already paid for. A disappointing decline from a company that once looked like a leader in this space.

So,I'll make this as short as I can...I'm not going to disclose exactly who I am because it's not worth the hassle... Steven in particular is known to be very rude and arrogant however I have not met him personally...they spam you with emails DAILY with their "secret sauce" that "top producers use" (typically they don't use anything Steven has I've met maybe one...so not sure where he's getting that from the samples are meh for the most part(there are some good ones) and the world famous USBS tend to be okay at best nothing special and it's nothing you're going to be world famous from using unless you are a a refined artist...just be cautious that they are absoloutley selling you a dream that really isn't reality...having unique sounds doesn't mean anything if you aren't able to use those sounds properly it's not necessarily a scam but you're being sold a pipe dream best to use splice or something along those lines IMHO

I purchased their infinity pack back in July of 2022. I’ve been waiting for its release for weeks and I was really excited for it. I even signed up to sms and email. They also did not put a price on it, but it was $297. They try to get you to drool over it for weeks and say that once it’s gone, it’s gone. When it was released, they said the first 200 people to purchase it gets a Gold USB. I didn’t want to miss out so even when I saw the price, I really hesitated. Gosh I wish I didn’t buy into it because I was one of the first 200 (I believe I was 126th or something, and I never received any USB. I should’ve sent them an email with a “hey where’s my USB?” But anyway, when I started downloading their files, two of them my antivirus won’t let me download. I thought “huh, that’s kinda sketchy”. There’s malware in their files and now I’m even more hesitant to unzip the files and let hell loose on my computer. This is a complete joke. A total waste of money. And an awful experience as a musician hoping for something good.
