You Mixed up My Sample with Someone Else’s!
You got my first sample from my home here on the East Coast switched with a person‘s sample from the West Coast with severe PFAS contamination. Luckily I caught this very serious error and you very considerately sent a replacement kit to me which came back absolutely clean for PFAS.

Peter, apologies for the confusion and inconvenience. As we discussed by phone, this occurred because the Water Test Kit Pro was purchased on eBay. The original purchaser (your seller) bought multiple kits; the customer record, barcodes, and test kit data all remained in our system under the original purchaser. There are several reasons why you should always, and only, purchase test kits directly from Cyclopure. First, is to ensure that all information for tracking your sample is tied to the name and address provided on the order. Second, when buying from a third party (which is not authorized by Cyclopure), you do not know if the test kit has been handled properly, possibly opened and exposed to some kind of contamination. Direct chain of custody between you and Cyclopure is broken. Because of these problems, we sent you a replacement kit at no charge. It is a cautionary tale … test products should always be purchased from the authorized vendor and not on secondary platforms like eBay.
