Was given wrong information and charged for a 3 minute service that was not even needed. Even the tech said visit was not needed. Said he would talk to his boss. They lowered the bill but not to what it should have been. Don't trust them, if you want honesty call someone else.

Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware – Think Twice Before Choosing Culligan
I wish I had done more research before spending thousands of dollars on a Culligan water softener system. My system is less than two years old and has already stopped working.
What shocked me even more was the service policy. Before anyone will even diagnose the problem, Culligan requires a prepaid labor charge of $156 for the first 30 minutes, followed by $39 for every additional 15 minutes, regardless of what the issue turns out to be.
My experience with the Houston office has been extremely disappointing. The customer service was rude, unhelpful, and focused on collecting fees rather than helping a customer with a relatively new system.
The sales process was excellent, but the after-sales support has been the complete opposite. There are many other water treatment companies with comparable products and much better customer service. I wish I had chosen one of those instead.
I hope this review helps other homeowners make a more informed decision before investing in a Culligan system.

Horrible customer service
We have a water purification system from Mulligan and it is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! We scheduled service calls on several occasions and they never show up.

Consumers beware of Culligan and ProOne!
Consumer beware! Stay clear of this company who bought out ProOne and don’t purchase products from either company! As a long-standing customer, I bought several of the new G3.0 Gravity Filters from ProOne just before Culligan acquired the company. After the filters rapidly failed because they turned out to be a defective product, I called ProOne who has stopped responding to customers and refuses to answer the phones regarding customer concerns, so I then contacted them via email. Subsequently, after receiving no contact from ProOne, I contacted Culligan, since they are now ProOne’s parent company, and spoke with a representative to request a refund. She said she would forward my request on to the individual in charge of the ProOne accounts. After contacting both companies, I received automated emails stating that they had received my messages and that a representative would be in contact with me, however, I have received no further contact from ProOne or Culligan, nor the refund I am requesting. The G3.0 filters are faulty and if you search the internet, you will see numerous other similar customer complaints about these filters. As the new parent company for ProOne, Culligan owes it to the loyal customers of ProOne to make amends by offering refunds for the defective products. This is no way to treat the customers of a company that you purchase if you want them to continue on with your company. Prior to the acquisition by Culligan, ProOne was always an upstanding company, and I never had any difficulty in contacting them or reaching a resolution on a concern. I also filed a compliant with the Better Business Bureau, however, they failed to respond to them, as well.

They preyed on an elderly dementia…
They preyed on an elderly dementia patient and have only just found out after a debt collector letter came through. She has no memory of it, doesn't check her mail and we found it by accident.
We don't even know if they did any work.
Definitely stay away from them

Incapable of removing unwanted equipment
incapable of scheduling a visit to remove an unwanted water filter. Despite multiple requests, and continue to bill for it

I regret the day I made the original…
I regret the day I made the original phonecall to Culligan. The first cooler broke within 2 weeks, it took a month to get hold of them to arrange a replacement, and that was only because left a 1* review here so they got in touch with me. The replacement was clearly an old model they had laying around. I requested they collect this heap of junk and cancel our agreement, which they agreed to. Now they are repeatedly sending me invoices for the cooler and for water we haven't had. Their phone line options don't work, and their emails are no reply. Please, please just sort yourselves out and leave me alone.
