These people have the worst customer service I have experienced! I will never buy from them again. I purchased a mattress pad to use on a bed for out-of-town guests coming for the holidays. The shipment took way longer than was quoted. I do understand it's a holiday season and accepted this. However, unfortunately, when the item arrived it did not fit the bed as it is an unusual size and I ended up needing a CA King. Not their fault. I just wanted to quickly find a solution and order a larger size while simultaneously return the one I had. The lady I spoke to was completely dumb. I paid $164+ for the item and she said I had to pay $11.95 for the return bringing my refund to $130 something. Ha! I kept telling her she was miscalculating and I needed to receive $152 something back. She also told me the King size was now $139. Ha! another joke now. It was $239. She insisted on the $130 refund so I finally had to hang up. I ended up going to The Company Store who I have used for YEARS! The customer service was EXCELLENT! I ended up buying another mattress pad for 1/2 the price and received outstanding service PLUS I received a 25% discount and FREE SHIPPING..

Truly awful and incompetent customer service + overcharge on S&H. Overall, I've had several bad experiences with them over the years. Some of their material are nice, but good luck if you encounter any problems and try to sort it out. In my experience their customer service responders have been either clueless and ignorant of the product, and/or unnecessarily rude and obnoxious to deal with. Find another vendor if you can.

Ordered something three years ago. I don't even remember what it was. However, once you are on their mailing list, you will be inundated with mailed catalogues! I've gone online and checked the appropriate boxes, but they continue filling my PO box. Make it stop!

Returning two pillowcases to Cuddledown has resulted in me deciding never to order from them again after many years of wonderful merchandise and service. Here’s what I experienced this week: (1) No return label was included even though the reverse side of the return/exchange form says: AFFIX LABEL HERE. (2) So I had to call twice to find out how to get a label. I was on hold for a very long time. The first rep. failed to send the label. The second rep. sent me a link to where I could print out the two-page label/return slip from the website. You would have thought I was returning gold bricks or a tiger. (3) Printing out the two pages sucked up a great deal of ink from my home printer due to all the bold text, lines, borders, QR codes, etc. (4) Now to repackage the set of pillowcases, locate an FedX office, and make that round trip, after paying Cuddledown an additional $10.95 for the label AND $2.50 for carrier imposed surcharge added to the $59.00 for the pillowcases and $16.49 for S&H. This is not good customer service. It is disrespectful to customers. Customers shouldn’t have to do all this work to get two pillowcases ready to send back. The ultimate insult is that I had to pay $10.95 for the return label. And the instructions warn that a refund can take four to six weeks. BTW, the pillowcases are paler than they are on-line.

Sheets I ordered did not arrive for over a week- no shipping notification, nothing. They said they required additional information for credit card. I cancelled due to their inefficiency. This month my credit card was billed $18.26 as a repeating charge. I have received nothing from them and did not sign up for anything. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company. Numerous other people on this website have had similar problems.

I am receiving unauthoized automatic $20 monthly bills sent to my credit card for some kind of "membership" that I did not enroll in.

I have bought several items from Cuddledown and have been pleased with their quality. However, a recent purchase required customer service intervention and they completely dropped the ball. On 11/17 I ordered a comforter from them. After 11 or 12 days I wondered why there was no activity on this order. I reviewed my order, saw that I had mistakenly inverted the shipping and billing address. Called customer service to explain this and get it corrected. It was a somewhat painful call, as the agent seemed not to understand what I needed. Finally, I believed we had succeeded. However, there was no subsequent update from the company confirming this change, and again the weeks went on. I also could not locate my order number in their system (!) and finally assumed that this was going nowhere, and I purchased a comforter from a different company. Yesterday I received a notification from my bank that $306 and some odd cents from a Cuddledown purchase had hit my card. Back on the phone today to customer service. Again, a long song and dance, with the customary ‘I under, Miss X that you want to …’. Finally, I said, no, I don’t think you do understand. I want these charges reversed. Your products are fine, your customer service is very lacking, no communication whatsoever and I could not even locate my order in your system. Yes, hate to say it, but it’s clear that Cuddledown outsourced their customer service and that alone exacerbates the communication problems. I would stay away from them.

A few years ago, I purchased an "oversized king" level 4 duvet from Cuddledown for roughly $1500. The duvet arrived and we used it, but it never had the loft or warmth of the lighter-weight Cuddledown comforter we replaced with it. This year, we purchased a replacement duvet cover and realized that Cuddledown sent us the WRONG SIZE AND WRONG COMFORTER in the first place. It is substantially smaller and substantially lighter (less fill) than it was supposed to be. This is extremely frustrating since, at this point, we are out of luck and really feel taken advantage of by a clearly unscrupulous company. I would not recommend them and will not purchase anything from them in the future. Caveat emptor.
