Worst purchase I've ever made in my life. Absolutely not worth half of it's value. I bought my zt1 42 deck brand new from Home Depot. Cut my grass less than 7 times before the motor locked up. It took Cub Cadet 7-8 months to approve the warranty replacement motor. They then used all the old motor parts that was left sitting in old gas back on the new motor. It ran and cut grass 2 more times. Died on the second time, take it back to their vendors and am being told it needs a new carb battery and spark plug and fuel filter due to water in the fuel. I assume from being left outside while at their vendor and cub cadet refusing to make things right by covering the cost of repair. I am now on week 2 of trying to talk to a supervisor. Run far away from cub cadet even for the smallest of jobs

I ordered a mulching kit online it supposedly shipped on 6/24. The carrier never received the package. I called them three times and was promised a return call or an email, nothing. I finally filed a complaint through the BBB. They claim they issued a refund over a week ago but I have not received it. Do not do business with this company!

It’s all trash. My mower has been in the shop for 2 months for basic parts…all while my grass grows crazy. Do not buy Cub Cadet, worst warranty program on planet earth.

Two weeks ago I ordered a mower from Cub Cadet online. It showed as in stock and would ship in 6-8 days. They took my money and sent a confirmation email no problem. A week later, I hadn't heard anything about delivery. I called their customer service line. The agent was extremely hard to hear and not helpful, eventually telling me he couldn't see the status and I would need to call back the following week - no other answers. This week I immediately called. The agent assured me that I would be getting an email for shipping soon, the product had been backorder he said (which I was never informed of) but he promised I would hear more soon. Today, less than 24hrs after that call, I received and email of cancelation. Reason? No stock. What an absolute JOKE of a company. This was supposed to be a father's day gift for my husband. I will never shop Cub Cadet again.

Over the last 50 years I have purchased many grass cutting machines. My last sit on mower was a generic which I used successfully for sixteen years. Towards the end of last year I purchased a Cub Cadet LT1. It has only been used for 10 hours, and already the Bearings need rteplacing. As far as I am concerned the Cub Cadet is complete rubbish and I would sugest that you choose a different make.

Stay away from the SC 100hw, 159cc. I use my mower 5 months a year. After 4 years it's a peice of shit. If you start mowing and stop for a minute it wont restart. Need a me mower and it won't be a Cub Cadet.

i ordered a mulch kit for a Z2 fabricated deck mower. Never received an email with order number. I checked and the item was on back order. I could not wait so i bought it at another dealer. Tried to cancel the order but they told me they could not find the order. They found it long enough to have a charge pending on my credit card. I even went to delete my account and that is not an option!
