CSI rentals have been my goto rental company for a few years now for many reasons: - very pleasant staff and always accommodating to last minute changes. Always helping with a smile. - at times I've stopped by to rent equipments without a booking and they've been super accommodating without making a fuss about it. - if desired equipment isn't available to rent, they upgrade the equipments without additional charges. - their weekend deals are a STEAL! - their equipments are always serviced well and in very good condition. I never had any bad experience with them. - if I am late in returning for an hour or so I call them and let them know about the delay and they are always cooperative. Best experience with the whole CSI Team!

Needed something small from CSi Rentals and they got it to me quickly for a reasonable price.

Altogether great and pretty reliable. These days these guys are my first stop for all my rental needs. Also prices are very reasonable.

They gave me broken equipment, offered no solutions while i had it on-set with a paying client, then magically fixed it behind the counter when I brought it back, claiming it was in perfect condition and I was lying. Then the owner chased me out of the store and screamed racial and homophobic slurs at me in the street.

Great rental house with top of the line gear and friendly staff! They're very accommodating and are NOT sticklers on return or pick up, which can be very helpful with a crazy production. My only complaint is that since csi rentals has a brookln shop and a manhatten shop, sometimes what they say they have available online in one shop, is only available at the other shop because of people who don't return properly. So I ordered a dana dolly with 3 foot rails, at the brooklyn shop, and they only had the 6 foot rails available when I arrived because the 3 foot were retuned to the Manhattan store. But would say this rarely occurs...and if it does it's with non-essential items, like rails or accessories. However I must mention that because they gave me the longer, less portable rails, they threw in a carrying case for them to solve my problem of having less portable rails. So overall, love CSI rentals- they just want to help filmmakers out.

being a novice photographer, sometimes picking the right equipment could be challenging, but they are always super helpful, hands on and help me pick the best equipment that'll also help me save money! love these guys!

They had no record of the order, then gave us a cracked piece of equipment and when we returned it they claimed it wasn't that way when they gave it to us. Really? Wrapped in duct tape and all? Kind of a mess over at the Brooklyn location. I can't speak for the NY location.
