We’re sorry the calcium buildup made replacing your Bath Ball filter so difficult, but we’re glad the vinegar soak allowed you to get it open. In areas with hard water, mineral scale can accumulate over time, so periodically cleaning the Bath Ball may help prevent it from becoming fused together again. Michael, we’re sorry we did not respond to your feedback sooner. Although some time has passed, we still would like to acknowledge your experience and address the concern. One possible cause is water remaining in the upper reservoir when the pitcher is poured. If the reservoir is overfilled, especially when the lower pitcher already contains filtered water, or if the pitcher is tilted steeply before filtration finishes, a small amount of water can escape around replacement-dial area and appear to leak from the spout. Allowing the upper reservoir to filter closer to completion before pouring can usually resolve this. Normal pouring should still be clean and convenient, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention as we continue evaluating the pitcher’s design for improvement. If you still have the pitcher and the leaking continues after the reservoir has fully drained, you're more than welcome to email [email protected] with your order information. Despite our delayed response to this specific review, we would be glad to help determine whether something is not fitting or sealing correctly and explore resolution.
