The water was cloudy and tasted funny for a while. I think it’s clearing up. I now that’s to be expected though. So glad to have my water filtered. Thank you

You've got it exactly right and I'm glad you said so, because that first cloudy glass can make some people worry. Two things happen on a brand new carbon system. Fine carbon dust washes out of the fresh media, and air gets trapped in the line. The air is usually what's behind the milky look. Next time, try pouring a glass and watch it: if it clears from the bottom up, that's air working its way out rather than anything in your water. Both tend to settle once the system has run a while, and the taste comes along with them. A little trick, for you next time and for anyone reading this, is to let a new system or a fresh cartridge run for a bit before you drink from it. That flushes the dust and clears the air out first. If it still hasn't cleared, send over your order # and any other info you'd like to share to [email protected] and I'll take a look. Glad you're up and running, and thanks for sharing what you saw. It helps the next person!
