Bait and switch tactics of offering $1500 prepaid Visa card then reducing it to $50. The rest was easy and self explanatory

The ads I get have all these discounts and smoking deals, balcony upgrades etc. but when you get down to it that's usually not case. They give you a good price and then make it up on the backend with fees and other things. Bait and switch to an extent. You would think I would be smarter after several cruises but I still fall for it. Be nice if you could just get it up front without the dodge and weave! Service was ok but prices were a far cry from what I expected.

When I called, the agent starter doing everything thru the BJ's travel service (which at seems they operate), not Cruises.com. I had several questions concerning promos and she could not answer them. I ended up booking myself and picking what I felt was the best for me.

Calling to set up the reservation for the cruise was difficult. We were promised a $50 Visa card for both parties that signed up for the cruise but could only activate one, which was disappointing. I hope the actual trip is much better than the preview

When I signed up I was supposed to receive a reduced deposit however my card was charged for the full deposit amount. Thankfully I spoke with a gentleman named Jonathan who cleared up the issue swiftly and was very polite in doing so. Thanks to his mannerism I was able to stay calm and he handled the issue with a great deal of professionalism.

Purchased cruise April 28,2018 san juan,P.R. (Adventure of the seas) from cruises.com was told you will get $50. Onboard credit $25. From cruises.com (i got it.) But the other $25. They never gave it to me but cruises.com promised but all this was by phone so no proof,they have recording.Guest services on adventure of the sea told me you should have purchased from us,how right they were! BUY DIRECTLY FROM CRUISE BE IT ROYAL CARIBBEAN ,CARNIVAL ETC..NO 3RD PARTIES AVOID MY FRUSTRATION. Up date June 14,2018 - Got my $25. Refund (after this frustration should have been at least $50.) after complaining but no apology from cruises.com , thats why i gave them 3 stars.
