Unpleasant hotel with dingy rooms. We were allocated a accessible room even though we did not have a disability. The room was set up for one person (we were a couple) with a light, table and plug socket all on one side of the bed. The other side was pushed against the wall with nothing! The room was noisy, with a joining door to another room that had screeching girls keeping us awake until 2am! That wouldn't be so bad (it was a Saturday night in Leeds and people are allowed to enjoy themselves!) but the door, rather than wall made sure we heard everything. The staff in the bar were very nice, that was probably the only decent thing. The reception staff were unhelpful when we requested to change rooms, fobbing us off. I wouldn't stay there again and I would suggest you find somewhere else to stay unless they are giving it to you for free!
Dear Ms H.
Stayed over for one night for work. Not going to lie if I had paid for it I would have felt I had been ripped off . The room was ok apart from no shower gel in shower long black hair in bath , the bed was uncomfortable the pillows were like rocks. I ate in the restaurant at night I had a burger which was burnt . Breakfast was poor sausage were overcooked black pudding like a brick.scrambled egg overcooked and mushrooms full of water and tasteless. We had lunch provided which was curry the samosa was very spicy but dry the tikka masala was definitely not a tikka masala as described more like a bhuna and repeats on you all day afterwards. This hotel is overrated

Paid for a nights stay with use of the leisure facilities only to find on arrival the jacuzzi was NOT working! No apologies were given - in fact when we complained we were basically asked ‘ what do you want me to do about it? No offer of compensation other than you can have a refund and be on your way!! Not ideal when you need somewhere to sleep. To aggravate the situation further she continued by saying the leisure facilities were not part of the price they were’ a gift ‘ included in our stay - some gift when they are not fully operational. Also the room was cold- she took the room number but did absolutely zilch!. If you are looking for and willing to pay a little extra for a bit of luxury DO NOT COME HERE. Also be advised if things are not working or not as promised it’s not their fault - it’s yours for having such high expectations. Customer satisfaction clearly doesn’t matter because things break down and that’s just the way it is especially once you have paid!

Don’t go if you need any sleep. On 5th floor and although my IHG profile clearly states I need to sleep I was put overlooking the main road and being awake all night and even at 04:48 the road noise was horrendous. It is double glazed but has opening window and you can feel the breeze coming in from the window. Obviously seals gone. Talk duty manager 5 days ago who was going to look into it. Absolutely no response from them. £198 for one person for the night. What an absolute rip off.

On arriving at this hotel you are greeted by friendly helpful staff. The hotel is a short walk from Leeds train station. The hotel is lovely and clean and has a lovely big staircase leading up to the upper floors. You can get lift to any floor. The rooms are lovely and spacious clean and tidy. You get a fridge in your room, tea making facilities, plus couple biscuits 😋nice big wardrobe with hangers and you also get iron and hairdryer. The beds are lovely and comfy and had great night sleep once the heating got sorted in the room as I thought it was cold. The thermostat was switched on but when I went to reception I was informed by Sam that it could take up to 1-2hr to come on. It didn't kick in till after 11 as that's when I fell asleep. The breakfast is well worth the price and the staff go above and beyond to help to make sure you have what you want Had swim in the pool in morning and also went I. The jacuzzi, always nice to I hotel with pool in plus they have a gym, steam room and sauna They have an onsite bar but I thought it was expensive as asked for bottle of presecco and was informed it would be £37😵they have a lovely seating area outside, which when cold they have outside heaters and was also informed they have barbaques when weather is nice in the summer. Would i return most definitely can't wait to book up again. It also helps if you are a IHG member as you can sometimes get late check out. Plenty to do in Leeds and you are about 5 mins away from shopping centre restaurant and the pubs 🙂 Big thanx to the following staff members who made my trip by be kind and very helpful and friendly Yassa, Titus, Lezel, Sam and Anne👏🏼🙂x

Excellent conference room, facilities, and rooms. I would also like to extend personal thanks to all members of staff - their friendliness, courtesy and willingness to help made the two days run so much more smoothly. In particular I'd like to compliment: - Anne and Yasser on reception - Haroun and John who helped with the conference room and lunch time food - Kerry and the kitchen staff for the delicious food and prompt, professional table service. Well done!

During my stay at your hotel, a male guest gained access to my hotel room at midnight as they were given a keycard to it by reception. I called reception after the incident but no one picked up the call and when talking to reception the following morning at around 9:30 am, I was only told sorry and that this is a rare occurrence. I felt that the staff was indifferent to my situation. I've contacted the hotel several times by email to only hear from them a handful of times. They promised an investigation into the matter and offered me points which I've accepted. I've heard nothing and received nothing and now they have not responded to me for over a month.
