My 88 year old swedish neighbor developed a rat problem back in May. We hired two local pest control companies who were incapable of taking care of the problem. The rats were in the attic multiplying and the situation was getting critical. I heard about Critter Control and promptly called them. John came out and inspected and found the problem to be pretty bad. Within two weeks they had the problem solved - removing the insulation, sealing any openings, treating the entire attic and house and re-insulating the attic. The team that came out with Steve (about 8 men) worked for about 8 hours on the house. I must say they were very professional, courteous and cleaned up the property very well. I would highly recommend them for this type of problem.

Critter Control came out to remove insulation, blow in new installation and close up any holes they saw in our attic. They were very professional and did a great job prepping the room and cleaning up after. I would recommend them.

We recently purchased a 20 year old home on a lake in Gleneagles Country Club. Although we were advised by our Home Inspection company of previous raccoon infestation, we were not aware of the damage until our electrician was up there during the renovation. He came down from the attic and said the former infestation was there and so was a trail of rats throughout the attic including their feces. I called Critter Control and Kimberley and Jason were out the next day to do a full inspection. They came down from the attic with photos of the damage and explained all of the problems. No I did not want another project during this reno, but there was no way we would move in without addressing the problem. Because of the former Raccoon infestation not only was there feces from the raccoon's but placenta from their nest, and all sorts of rat feces as well. Along with feces there's always urine it was explained. UGGGHH. 2700 sq ft of batted fiberglass insulation needed to be removed, all of the entry points need to be sealed to prevent further infestation, all of the sophist needed to be re-covered ( with the correct materials ), a germicide needed to be sprayed an then all new insulation needed to be put in. NO NO NO No - I do not want to do this - - BUT - having lived here in Florida for 15 years, I knew we needed to correct this problem Critter Control handled this problem with kid gloves. Prior to the removal and install ( about 1 1/2 weeks ) over the Christmas Holiday, their technician was at the house almost every other day setting traps to make sure no new infestation was there. Thankfully not. The day of the install the crew ( 8 guys ) went about performing all of the items on the list without pause. Even had an issue with the trucks needing to be moved to allow other contractors pre-scheduled to be at the house and they worked around all of my needs without a problem. The crew was neat, efficient and professional. My only suggestion would be, if you had a home inspection and it indicates former infestation, spend the extra money BEFORE you make the the deal with the sellers and get Critter Control out there to do a further inspection so you know what additional expense there is to correct a problem the sellers probably only temporarily corrected. Great job!

My husband and I finally found the home we wanted, but sadly it came with a severe rat infestation in the attic. Normal for the location of being next to a body of water and vacant for 6 yrs. The seller (foreclosure) refused to decontaminate the attic and restore it. There was so much stuff left behind by the previous owners that had been destroyed by the rats and raccoon that had used the attic as their home. I met with Jason and John and they fully inspected my home, I got a total of 5 quotes, and I decided Critter Control was our best option. They even told me, I would choose them. Their confidence in their work and company, their willingness to help me, made me feel confident in THEM. Many companies will tell you they can do this for less, which isn't true. They normally have to outsource some of the work which in turn causes more money. Even Orkin, which is owned by the same company as Critter Control, advised me to just use them as it will save me money and they do it all. It's a one stop shop. Critter Control gave me a true quote, fully inspected my new home and gave me the assurance I needed. Included in the price was a small fee for removing the house full amount of what was trash, thanks to the rodents. The crew sent out consisted of 9 incredible men ( shout out to their crew chief Emerson) who not only emptied the attic which is just under 2000 Sq feet, they restored it and made it safe for my family of 5. They also did every thing possible to help prevent further unwanted furry guests, noticed a fire hazard with a dryer vent and thankfully fixed it, all the while showing me with pictures every step they were taking to make my home perfect for us. They hauled it all away and even cleaned behind them. They took care of my home, polite, respectful and professional. With Nick at Critter Control trapping anything coming in, the house locked up tight to prevent them, I can rest easy knowing there won't be a problem. I truly and couldn't recommend them enough. I even hired them to spray for those other pests, spiders and ants and other icky bugs.

These guys really know their business. Professional, courteous and friendly. Thomas has made a difficult situation a pleasant learning experience and Steve and his crew are thorough to the point of obsession. You can find someone cheaper but you can't find anyone better. Highly recommended.
