Coming from crimson, I made it into a T20 college. Their mentors helped me brainstorm and provided resources to guide me through the complicated college process. The mentors were all very kind and active in helping us.

The guidance I’ve received from Crimson has been sooo helpful over the course of the application season and I want to go into why. My application mentor works with me on perfecting my extracurricular activities and honing in on what side I want to put forth to colleges. The most help I’ve received has been on the essay. I can genuinely say Crimson dramatically reformed the course of my college essay. They took my original topic and shifted it to something that better reflected my personal growth. Working through my ideas with professional writers helped cut out a lot of unnecessary information and clarify important points. I will say, my financial advisor hasn’t been nearly as helpful as my Application Mentor and Essay Mentor, but all the aid I’ve received from Crimson has drastically improved my college process. I’ve also attended a bunch of webinars through crimson on everything from science competitions to the art of debate. Make sure not to miss the ones about admissions officers reviewing people’s full applications. If you volunteer you can have you’re entire application reviewed and it’s super helpful just to see other people’s.

The Crimson Access Opportunity (CAO) program exceeded my expectations. A pro bono program, it provided me with a support group of expert advisors that focus in areas such as general college advising, financial aid, and essay writing. My strategist was more than willing to answer my questions, and my essay tutor put in countless hours outside of our meeting hours to edit my essays and get them into the shape they are today. I am so grateful for this program.

My CAO App Mentors were wonderful people and did provide helpful advice for refining my essays. However, in the end, I did not feel that they contributed much to the overall strategy/ narrative arc of my application

Throughout my time in the CAO program, I had the privilege of working with three mentors who navigated me through the entire application process, from writing essays to creating a balanced college list and even assisting with financial documentation. The Crimson team is extremely supportive, reliable, and exceptionally qualified. In essence, my experience with Crimson has been positive, and I recommend it to anyone seeking guidance in their academic journey!

I can't imagine myself going through all the process of applying for college in the US (as an international student) without the help of Crimson Education. They offer particularly a special program called Crimson Access Opportunity which is a great initiative that has helped me save time and resources as I receive orientation on three important aspects of the process: mentoring, financial assistance and, essay tutoring. The people with whom I worked with are very proactive, professional and sweet. I have to say the whole process it's been hard but with their help I feel less anxious and more confident!

I had no experience in college applications. Being a first generation student from Africa, no one around me had the knowledge to help me navigate my college abroad dreams. My strategist and mentor were so helpful! I loved the support and the time they took to take me through everything. They would never be late, they would use simple language and check up on me constantly to ensure that I was doing the right thing. They helped me come up with a college list and my writing really improved! I just loved crimson and still do!!!!

After being accepted into the CAO program, all my mentors provided me with insightful tips on admissions and, whatever the result may be, they guided me on a journey of growth.
