Furnishing a new condo in Wash DC from scratch and working with an interior decorator who ordered an expensive ($1,500+) bed frame (exclusive of mattress), After a 3 month delay and major problems with the Fed Ex delivery, opened the two bed frame boxes only to discover the head board was for a full bead (what was ordered) and the foot board for a queen so it could not be assembled. Five days later they came out again with a loaner bed - that had NO legs, so back that one went as we.. The quality control at the distribution center is absolute zilch.

Bought a duvet and two pillow shams on 8/17. Received the duvet within a week. As of today 9/1 I still do not have the Shams. Coming from two different warehouses from California so that is an issue in itself and no idea why Fed Ex has the package way up in Berlin Wisconsin when we live in Illinois. Needed the shams to take out to our second home and original order said I would receive within 3-5 business days. No idea what shipping Crate and Barrell used for fed ex but this is unacceptable for in stock items.

Ordered the lounge sofa in dec 2020 under the assumption we’d receive the couch in 12-16 weeks (sales associate told us April at the latest). Since then, we’ve received multiple status delays. Went to our local store and the reps couldn’t have been more patronizing and less helpful (one rep told me, “sounds like a first world problem”). Order status as of now says early September but we’re not getting our hopes up. Their sales tactics follow the definition of bait and switch. We would have demanded our money back if we hadn’t already waited 9 months. Shame on you, CB. Will never buy from you again.

I ordered an item (an overpriced kitchen utensil set) from a bridal registry two months in advance to give as a shower gift. It was delayed so many times that the shower has now come and gone, and still no delivery. I ended up buying the exact item from Bed Bath & Beyond - same day delivery - so that I had a gift to give the bride to be.

I have nothing extra to add. Their online existence is a joke! I’m sure they violate basic consumer laws as an e-seller and I’m figuring out how to take legal actions. DONOT buy from them online.

Website refused to load. In two different browsers. In several attempts. Claimed I was a bot. Businesses are supposed to seek out and help on-line shopping. NOT block it you idiiots.

DO NOT ORDER from Crate and Barrell online! You will NEVER get OFF their email list. You will get 5+ emails a day, and you cannot STOP them. I have called, chatted, etc. and I still get them ALL THE TIME. It is so frustrating. Also, if you want to stop them from giving/selling your information to others, you have to go into Privacy and check some box , ... however, who knows if they are stopping selling your info or not. How would I know, even though I did what they told me to do. I wish I could give them LOWER than a ONE STAR rating!

Ordered a $6000 wall unit at C&B- shocked when two right sides arrive for this custom order from Italy. When we refused the accept, the piece sat outside in the rain. Happy to provide pictures. Waiting on C&B to offer a resolution. Since I took the day off I will continue to review all outlets available to me. First representative on the phone asked “what would you like us to do?”
