The CPD is an international customs document for the temporary admission of motor vehicles (private and commercial road motor vehicles) in countries where required. No other choice than to do business with boomerang carnet if North American. They complicate things and ask for exorbitant prices to be paid. Takes the fun out of traveling with your own vehicle. Would not recommend.

Months to get the thing. Months to clear the thing. A litany of nonsense excuses and non-communication in the interim. A person takes a vacation and an entire segment of their operations grinds to a halt. Too bad there's no alternative. ...in fact, why is a regulatory monopoly even looking for ratings? Do people rate the DMV too? I would give my local DMV 3 stars.
