Takes forever. Plan for 2 weeks and 50 emails before you get your transfer complete. Did two full transfers with transferwise in less time it takes then to approve my money is in there bank. Still waiting over 5 days after I've moved the money to then.

lot's of things are unclear, the rate exchange was changed 3 times: before, when I check the rate, during the transfer and finally before the final approval

Dear Customer, We at Covercy believe in transparency as a way to create trust with our customers. Therefore, we provide full viability on your deal rate in the deal confirmation page before submitting your transaction. This page also notes that this rate will remain without a change for 2 business days from the time you submit your transaction by clicking "Confirm and create transfer" button. As you may understand, for obvious risk management reasons, we cannot hold currency rates for a longer period (or from a time prior the actual submission of your transaction). That being said, we see ourselves as a Customer-First company and therefore apologize for any inconvenience. We invite you to contact our Support Team at [email protected] and we trust we could reach to a reasonable solution together :)

This was the first time I used a money transfer service other than a bank. Covercy initial service was very welcoming and friendly, until it got to the point they asked for "additional documents", I never encountered such an interrogation when I transferred money through the bank. Covercy claimed it is what is required by thr authorities, but the banks are subject to the same regulations and never aaked for so many details and forced my to submit sensitive personal information and contracts to allow the transfer. I'm not sure the slightly lower rate worth the extra strain related with their process.

The staff did not inform me about the additional documents that they needed untill i called. I sent what was told and waited again. And again there was some doc. They needed and nobody informed me until i called again. Eventually it took twice time... Set and relax was not enough....i had to check out every step of the transaction. But the idea is good next time will know better what is needed and check everything immidiatly by phone...

Dear Elena, Thank you for your review. Specific documentation is often requested as part of regulation requirements. We will re-look at the process and make sure that the documentation requirements will be clearer for further cases.

Great idea but my money did take quite a bit longer to arrive than covercy initially said it would. Because there is no way to communicate with customer service outside of emails which were not always replied to, the process was a bit frustrating because all of the information we needed to supply was not stated up front. I really appreciate that the service exists but covercy's website and service needs to be more customer friendly. Thanks!

Hi Richard, We apologize your transfer took longer than expected. We want to assure you that we are working hard on making sure that a transfer will usually take up to 24 hours from the moment the money is in our account and up to 48 hours in some cases. Glad to hear that you will use us again and we are waiting to show you that we can be better.
