During the process of deciding to switch my internet and wireless accounts from another carrier. I talked to a sales rep at the att retail store in Gardendale Al. She informed me that they had two reward programs that I could qualify for by switching from my previous carrier to Att. I switched to att for internet and wireless accounts. The sales rep assured me that I would get both the rewards. A $200 gift card and meta glasses. Later I was informed that I did not qualify for the meta glasses. I spoke to the sales rep, assistant manager, att customer service. I was passed from one person to another for three months. Everyone said that they would not help me I was lied to by att. Do not trust any rep from Att. They do not honor promises made.

I lost my Father on 8-18-2026 and ATT won’t release his phone number unless I take financial responsibility for his account. They allowed it and I missed a verification message on his old phone so they cancelled it and it’s back on his device. The only reason why I noticed is because I charged a second activation fee by Verizon because they gave me a different number in October. What a garbage company and I will never do business with ATT not matter how dire the situation may be!! They can take the 940 owed on the phone and the 140 dollars owed on the account and lose all that money or I am willing to pay the 140 and give them the phone. They won’t do that though. So here we stand and I will tell the truth about how crappy of a company they are and diabolical and horrible people on every website and review site that ever existed. My father passed and I want to preserve his number and use it for the non profit I started in his honor and now it appears I can’t!

I have been little by little getting away from AT&T. First they stopped Digital Life security. Now with Brinks. Their Uverse was switched to Direct TV. They over throttle internet and with too many dropped connections. So these three services are out of my life. (except Brinks). Next they will be taking my landline copper wire. When that goes I will switch cellphones and be 100% out of AT&T. Too many times I have had to call them which a idiotic computer answers. Some of the real people lie straight out. When I had called to disconnect my internet, they waited 10 days into the service and told me no credit. Thief. Too bad, They actually do have a lot of good people who now suffer at the hands of bad management. I am in Orlando Florida. NO MORE AT&T.

I cancelled att in August. I sent back router, extender, all cords a few days later via fed ex. I have a picture of the extender and receipt from FedEx, and email that all were returned. They are taking 67.00 a month out of my bank account for the last 2 months. They say there is a phone number to call them to resolve complaints…doesn’t exist. I am calling my bank tomorrow and make a fraud complaint. Worst service ever. They don’t deserve 1 star.

This is easily the most under handed criminal behavior I’ve ever seen from a wireless cell phone coming ang that’s saying something- they allowed me to return a phone after Christmas anf without warming revoked a promotion I had set up with them when I first signed up / they turned a zero balance on an old device to a 700 and raided my bill 30 % - Customer service are as intelligent as warped 2x4s - anc they are rude in the nicest wag possible - they are thieves period - stay away - never sign up - anc they ate leading in surveillance of data for our data - criminals pay me back my money

This is far and away the most unethical and dishonest business I have ever dealt with. I had their landline service for over 52 years, and after they kept raising the price drastically over the last decade, I finally and wisely switched providers (my monthly bill plummeted from $150 a month, to $23). After doing so, even though AT&T's bill was paid in full for 18 days beyond my disconnection date, they continued to bill me for undelivered service a month beyond my disconnection date. I filed complaints with every agency, but ATT continued their dishonest and greedy campaign to overcharge me for service they never provided. Steer clear of these pirates, and opt for any other phone provider. I wish I could give a negative five star rating, because that's what they deserve. So, I will add it here: AT&T Rating -5 Stars. The worst company of all time, without rival.

ATT Prepaid stole my money. I attempted a recharge via mobilerecharge.com which ATT told Mobile was successful but my phone was never recharged. I am overseas and it is impossible to contact them via the app and no email customer service.

If it was possible for me to give Zero stats I would 100% do it. The billing department kept me on the phone for an hour and did absolutely nothing but drag on the conversation. The manager Sam was so bad he never listened to us and kept trying to rip us off and in the end we will take them to court with proof. The main person we talked to was also awful he sat there quietly and kept giving us BS about how the manager is backed up and how we have to wait another hour. He “tried” to talk with the manager and did absolutely nothing. For months and months they were robbing us by making us pay $185+ but when we switched to Verizon they charged us $122. Same plan, nothing different, 2 numbers.
