We have submitted a request for a distribution from my wife's 403b and have received no response. Have called the 800 number multiple times only to be told they have submitted the request. Still haven't received any money. We tried years ago to transfer it to an IRA and finally gave up then but now we need the money. I used Fidelity for my 401k and had my money within a week. Don't ever use Corebridge Financial as they are terrible!

Unresponsive with death claims for a lengthy time period, then wanted documents that they were sent previously (and acknowledged at the time). I guess its just a way to hang on to other people's money longer. Very poor service, won't deal with them again.

I will advise people to avoid Corbridge at all cost. The customer service department is unreliable and provides incorrect information.

Outrageous. Months after I notified Corebridge of my mothers death and made follow up calls, and I have yet to receive a Death Claims packet. Instead I get a letter months later says her estate owes them money. When the bank was notified of her death they locked her account and monthly payments are returned. They owe us money and still no claims packet. I intend to file a complaint with the SEC and our state insurance commissioner. Customer support is ineffectual. They only visit more stress and grief upon an already grieving family.

Website and app “down for maintenance” 26 hours after posted it would be available after “maintenance the previous 22 hours. Of course, no customer service on weekends and now asking us to choose new security questions. Probably locked all customers out now by being “unAble to access security questions. Customer service is pitiful to not available.

Disgusting and unethical behavior regarding insurance payouts. They have delayed and made an already difficult time even harder. They will not update you, I had to call them and only then did I find out they needed additional documentation and when I asked why they had not let me know, they said they do not contact customers. Then lied about not having a physical address to send express mail to, I had to find it on the website and confirm with a different representative. It’s been a month and they have still not paid out this claim. It’s despicable. I will be seeking out legal representation if necessary and filing a complaint with the attorney general as well.
