American general life and Corebridge Financial are total scam life insurance. My $100mo policy, overnight, ballooned to over $400+ per month. I canceled the policy on the spot and was told that I would get a refund which was a lie. You are better off finding a reputable life insurance policy elsewhere.

I've been having a nightmare with Corebridge mishandling my mother’s estate claim, but the California Department of Insurance is doing a great job helping out. If you're being stonewalled by Corebridge, reach out to your state’s insurance regulator and file a formal complaint.

I was a beneficiary on a Corebridge account, and I was amazed at how badly they handled the situation. Customer support was neither knowledgeable or helpful and I have been dealing with them for MONTHS now without any resolution on what should have been a simple death claim and payout. Multiple calls top try and get a resolution have only made me more frustrated as I hear the same response over and over again "we are waiting for approval" with no further information or clarification. Losing a loved one was a horrible experience and dealing with Corebridge has just made it worse. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

They told me I wouldn’t pay 20% federal tax, if I filled out W4 federal tax form. I filled out the form and sent it in, which delayed the withdrawal process. In the end they still took out the 20% federal tax. They lied and are a scam. I would not do business with this company ever again.

I would give this company a zero rating if possible. My mother's investment firm was purchased by Corebridge and it has been a horrible experience since, including when my mother passed away. I am the executor of her trust and CANNOT get Corebridge to release her funds, to which I am lawfully entitled. I have completed and submitted their claim form package TWICE by mail and once by email, with zero response or action. I continue to call for updates and continue to receive either zero or conflicting information, and continue to be asked to submit forms which I have already submitted. They refuse to let me speak to a manager to rectify this situation and move this alone, but rather say that I'll receive a call back, which I never receive. At the VERY LEAST this is a blatantly mismanaged company with ZERO customer service skills. And at most, they are criminally negligent with other people's money. I have done everything lawfully and legally required to obtain the money remaining in my mother's account with absolutely zero progress and a million excuses and conflicting instructions/updates. If you ever want to see your money, STAY AWAY FROM COREBRIDGE!

This company is the worst (worse than Comcast & Verizon). Just try to make a withdrawal. They will delay releasing funds as long as possible- they told me twice everything was in order, 3-5 business days for money transfer, and then come up with something else. I have spent many, many hours on the phone with them, just trying to get my own money.

WORST company and experience ever! They make it almost impossible to transfer your money out of your own retirement account. And the customer service you receive from the call center line and financial representatives is very subpar and lousy! I needed my account number and the call center put me on hold for 25 minutes, asked 10 security questions only to find out that their computer systems were "down" and could get my account number after all that time and told me to call my representative because they were the only ones that could give the acct number. The financial representative (Caleb Logan) was RUDE, and had a careless attitude and kept giving me the run around and useless information and it seemed like the only time he seemed like he cared was to get my service but when it came time to withdraw his whole attitude changed towards to me and it was very unprofessional!! I will not recommend them to anyone in the future and if you are thinking about it..Don't!!!!
