I have an account that I have been trying to cash out for months now. I do everything they say and cannot get my funds. My 4th call to them , a manager supposedly, had me email A notarized copy to cash out my account. 2 weeks later I still don’t have my money. She said it would take 3 days. I would give them a minus 10 if I could!!

It's lawyer time!

Useless! Less than one star if I could! Whatever they tell you do not believe it! I had an annuity with them over 10 years, I am so glad I am free of them! They were suppose do a money transfer to my new financial investment company but they sent a check and then charge me $375.00! Now, I called them ahead of time before submitting paperwork and asked about fees and they said I would not be charged any costs for necessary paperwork and I did not ask for a check to be sent—So not sure what $375.00 was for except there letter states check when I never asked for a check! Trust me when I say I have only been shown incompetence from the so called managers and customer service! I think the upper echelons laid off all people that were competed and sent work out country but I am just guessing but I do not that now is just terrible how things are either this company! If you can, I say run at all cost! I can’t began to list all the terrible issues/concerns with this company! If it costs you a few $ to break free of them, please do so because staying will be more costly! Good by Corebrig/AIG or whoever you may change your name to next! Goodbye and good riddance 🤗

UPDATE: these guys did reach out to me on 3/16/26; 5-6 months later. I guess it wasn’t that important. They sent me a generic letter with some dates we talked or mailed but never addressed the countless phone calls, letters and bullying they exhibited. So my fundamental points remy the same. I’ve tried countless times to get confirmation that my life insurance will not be renewed at exorbitant increases due to age. They still send these “ your policy will renew with substantial increases” AFTER talking to someone I’m not renewing. Took days to get ahold of someone so not going that route again. Avoid these guys…

It's a shame that have to award one star to Corebridge. It is impossible to speak with a knowledgeable, helpful human being at this company. I was continually transferred and cut off. I cannot express how frustrating it is dealing with this company. Very incompetent people. I am moving all of my funds away from this institution.

Have had a policy in affect for several years. Received a mailed letter my policy was cancelled, no explanation, and am still getting money drafted from my account. Have called and transfered 4, was going to be 5 times back to numbers I was already transferred to. NO ONE CAN HELP OR GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION. Im about to file a complaint with the NC Attorney General's Office, BBB, NC Dept of Insurance. They are STILL drafting my account AFTER cancelling my policy.

Could not get my money. They said they would mail the paper to sign, it never came but whe I changed my account info, three days later I had a letter acknowledging that change. Something is really. Wrong with their system. I was lucky to find a person who helped me but the whole process took a year of asking. Without that person I would still be jammed in their system. Something is really wrong with their system.

Why this company even exist on planet earth . Have been struggling for over a month to roll over my money . They have made it impossible to do so .
