As you can clearly see by all the negative reviews, this company is terrible. I had a 20 year term life insurance policy that was up for renewal. I never gave consent for renewal as the policy premium was going to increase 5X. They auto debited my bank account anyways and I woke to an overdrawn account while I was trying to enjoy a family vacation. I was able to get the policy canceled but it took nearly 2 weeks to receive a refund of funds they essentially stole from me. Stay away.

If I could do negative I would ,. At first they got me and made everything sound good with my withdrawal and the process as it’s become closer to receiving my request max wait day(s) I get told the process as it’s could stop and it would cause and additional 7-10 “business day” .. they don’t even include Saturday as a business day even though mail runs on Saturday . I also asked for it to be where I can sign because I don’t trust the mail service I was told no

Customer service is a joke. Moving on to someone who will represent me

I submitted a beneficiary request (by USPS priority mail) on October 6, 2025. It is November 13, 2025 today and I am still waiting on a check. When I call the 1 (800) number to inquire about the status of my request. I'm put on hold for long periods of time and never get straight answers to my questions. There is no one above a supervisor level to speak with and the supervisor does not follow up as they said.

Zero stars! This sorry excuse of a financial institution has the absolute worst customer service on the planet. If you have money with Corebridge get it the hell out of there if you can!

my step father died in Nov, and my mother was the beneficiary and i am her POA. It has been an absolute nightmare working with these people to try and achieve what should be a simple process.I have contacted these people 5 times with no success.I would not invest a dime there customer service is TERRIBLE!!!

I am the beneficiary on deceased parent's annuity. I have been trying to change my address for the past 5 months. Mother died 7 years ago and have received 1 check. I have 9 phone calls to india documented.

I am an insurance agent. I will never introduce my customers to Corebridge Financial anymore. The nurse who went to the customer's house wrote the customer's name wrong on the report. I called in to have status, the customer service picked up the phone, kept asking me to purchase the fall plan, saying everybody can fall. I am kept saying I just want my customer's status. She still tried to introduce me to the program. I called in another line for life insurance, it's an annuity line, and transferred me to the life insurance line, but nobody picked up the phone, and I got hung up. Horrible system. If you don't know how to do insurance, don't do it.
