We ordered a $2200 printer, but were told that it wouldn't work without two other components that cost $900 more than the quoted price. Let me be clear, the $2200 printer will not work without the $900 pieces. Furthermore, the toner is priced about 1/3 higher than standard online outlets AND if that's not enough, what I originally tried to purchase for $2200, ended up costing $3921.95 when the final bill came through. Folks, these people are shady and should be avoided. When confronted to explain, they were unable and passed us off to another department to try and save the deal. Oh, if you want free shipping, you need to buy 6—yes SIX—units. Stay away.

Misleading Advertised Pricing
The price reflected is only for the main component, which I am told will not run without another component that costs another 1/3 of the price. Then the free shipping displayed on the Google shopping site is replaced by a "call to inquire about free shipping" disclaimer. Of course none of this info is provided until after I've entered all of my information and submitted the order. Seems like a more transparent approach to sales is direly needed. Not even a lost leader, more like a false leader.

Most frustrating experience ever
I searched on line for a particular hp laser printer with specs no longer made.. I found several on Copyfaxes websites, and they had a look of a reputable company. I ordered a printer, and they were strongly pushing me to upgrade to a refurbished machine for more than $150 than originally advertised . When it arrived, it was missing a cord, an empty cavity which would have accommodated a regular usb plug in. When I called, they rudely said just get one at Staples, without even offering any help. I just spent over $700 with them..It wasn't that easy, and the company made no efforts to clarify what exactly I needed. It was a two week ordeal, again located on line before I finally got it hooked up, I couldn't open the paper tray, couldn't reprogram the printer to print 8.5 x 11 paper. The printer was not recognizing paper size, the ink was grey, the toner cost me $100. After several phone calls for their on-site tech support, I never got a call back to help solve the problem. I ended up getting my tech come in and find there were missing screws, the printer looked patched together, flimsy,it needed to be totally reprogrammed to factory settings. The company was constantly insinuating it was my fault for not calling back again to get this fixed with their tech. I thought the least they could do is refund the cost of the tech visit. They would not reimburse for the anything, i bought my own HP toner, They offered to send a new toner and a $20 credit for later business. Needless to say, this was a fiasco, only aggravated more by the rudeness of the company, and the way they conducted their business.A very unsatisfying experience indeed.

Terrible. Took My Money but Wouldn't Honor Price. Wouldn't Return Money Until I Got Paypal Involved.
I tried to buy a scanner from Copyfaxes.com. They had the lowest price that I could find anywhere online, so I did some research and saw that they generally had good ratings and went ahead and ordered.
Within minutes my order status updated to money received. I waited a couple of days, thinking that I would soon be getting shipping information, but I was mistaken.
After about 3 days with no additional information other than Copyfaxes.com had taken my money, I decided to email them to see what was up. I waited another 3 days and they hadn't replied and there still was not change in my order status, so I tried again. This time someone did email me back about two days later. They told me the price was an error and that if I wanted to pay about $70 more I could still get the scanner.
I was annoyed because this is a classic bait and switch routine done by dishonest businesses. Take the order and then claim it was a price error. To make matters worse here however, they had also taken my money. I probably could have sued them in small claims court and won since this would be acceptance of a contract.
Anyway, I didn't want to fight it and this still was lower than any other store for this expensive scanner, so I said, OK, I'll pay the extra. They then said it wasn't $70, it was $100 plus $49 shipping (shipping had been free before). This was NOT cheaper than other stores any longer. Now it was more expensive; quite a bit more. So I said please refund my money. They said they would, but many days later, they still hadn't. I had to get Paypal and my credit card company involved before they would give me my money back.
I will never do business with Copyfaxes again. They took my money but would not return it or give me my product at the agreed on price until I got Paypal and my credit card company involved.

False Advertising and Horrible Service
I completely agree with the negative reviews on this website. They bait a consumer in with false understated prices for basic "shell" of a machine. Everything is added on and they even wanted to charge me an extra $300 to deliver the copier up an elevator and wheel it in 10 feet. The copier I purchased was over $4,000 and came in 7 different boxes. There were no installation guides or instructions. When we called Copy Faxes for the same, they informed us they needed a tech to install and to send us instructions. The instructions took hours before receipt. When I reached out for instructions and assistance, I was told that we need to pay for their tech. I forewent a great contact at LDI Toolbox to work with these people because I thought their prices were competitive, but in reality they were not and the machine I'm left with in my office is not of commercial grade and defective. Sy and Kevin were responsive at the least, but I can't say the same in results post-sale. The company is sales-focused and not customer-oriented. Go with LDI Toolbox or any other representative who's actually willing to break down the real costs and service that's needed to install before shelling out thousands of dollars on a machine that doesn't work and a company that won't provide the information needed for you to troubleshoot.

Price Bait and Escalate
Aside from a few reconditioned small units, you will find out quickly that their advertised prices are not what you can purchase anything for. The price advertised is for a motor and a shell. You have to add, a la carte, everything else to make it work, including even toner (all of it). So, when you end up with the final price, you might be better off just going to your local rep to buy a machine. So, they basically bait the internet with low, non-achievable prices to draw you in and hope that a certain percentage will still purchase. You just have to wonder if that is the type of company that you want to deal with.
Suggestion to Copyfaxes: Just give a reasonable price for a normal configuration and build up a good reputation. People are sick of falsity in the world!

Horrible communication and sent wrong printer
We ordered a printer from this company. It appeared the order was accepted, however three days later the credit card had still not been charged. I logged back in to see my order was "pending". I called them, and still don't know why they had not processed our order. They do not add shipping at the time of order. The shipping charges are outrageous, and if they had posted this on the website, I probably would have shopped elsewhere. But I went ahead with the order. Several days later, no printer still. So I go back to the website, and the order still shows as "pending". I'm told at this point that it has shipped, but their website does not update daily. I asked for a tracking number on three separate occasions, and they would not provide it. Finally today the printer arrives, and it is the WRONG PRINTER! It's the same brand but a different (and cheaper!) model. Of course we were charged for the more expensive one that I actually ordered. I would not recommend this company to anyone....pay a little more and deal with professionals.

will not recommend Copy Faxes to anyone
Kyocera Fs 4200, They posted a price that was reasonable. I agreed to the price and ordered the product, gave the credit card information, They then emailed back and said they to add $40 more for shipping. Need to add this on before product can be ship. With the $40, this is now more expensive than the other sites. After ten days of the order been placed their sales rep (Sy Ryan) can not confirm delivery date , their signature states "WE WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD ON SERVICE OR PRICE BY ANYONE, ANYWHERE, ANY TIME!! GUARANTEED!"
