My container was lost in the yard, doors are hard to open.
My container was lost in the yard, and no one could find it, worse no one contacted me to tell me about the delay. i made 6 phone calls to Container One before anyone contacted to explain why there was a delay.
My other major complaint is that it takes two people to open the doors because the hinges are so rusty, I don't mind that the container was beat up on the outside, but the doors should open without effort!

after 2 months the Truck driver was there for pickup and the order was canceled, so the driver waited over an hour to get the new order for shipping yard to release the container. Darla was great! but the rest of the service was terrible.

Great product, horrendous delivery system.
My container has not been delivered yet. It was paid for on August 19th, 2026. I have spoken to dispatcher Dave Davis over 10 times since September 5th. He has responded every time by saying that it will be delivered within a week. I have a contractor arriving Wednesday, October 14th that I now have to reschedule and lose a deposit on a container roof project. The container must be placed before the contractor can begin working. I had planned on ordering more units but don't feel confident in your company.

Bob, thank you for your repeat business. We understand how the delivery delay affects your contractor’s schedule and project plans. Container availability, specialized trucking, and carrier scheduling can sometimes extend delivery timelines, but we recognize that repeated estimates haven’t given you the certainty you need.
Please email [email protected] with your order number and updated project deadline so our team can review your delivery status and provide the clearest available next steps.

Good price, poor container, no help from Container 1
Jill Olson, customer service, that was the problem. The day it was delivered, the delivery driver could not get that handle to close. The inner door handle on the left door was twisted and bent. I told her again and again. sent pictures. Told her to send a new handle and I will put on. Its less than $50 online.
Nope, her final answer was "I have 3 other handles that work and the doors close". Poor customer service.

Paul, we’re sorry for the frustrating experience with your container handle and the support you received. We understand you’ve already explained the issue and sent photos. Please continue the conversation with our team in your existing email thread so we can work with you toward a resolution.

Completely disappointed
When the container was ordered I specified the doors must be facing the rear of the trailer. They were NOT. I looked on the bill of loading and it was specified on the bill.
The trailer was not working correctly, I had to get a battery pack to run the hydraulics on the trailer. Then the container got stuck on the trailer and that turned into another ordeal.
I spent three and a half hours screwing around to get the container off the trailer and when it was off the trailer it WAS NOT IN PLACE, IT WAS SITTING IN THE MIDDLE OF MY PARKING LOT! I had to make other arrangements to get equipment to move it into place. At additional cost to me.
Response from Container OneOct 16, 2026
Donald, we’re sorry for the difficult delivery experience you described. Your order specified rear-facing doors, and we understand your concern that the container arrived differently. A loading discrepancy or an unexpected trailer equipment issue could have complicated unloading, but we would need to review the delivery with the carrier to establish what happened.
We take your report of the extended unloading time, final placement, and additional moving costs seriously. Please connect with our logistics team so we can review the delivery details and supporting documentation with you and determine the appropriate next steps.

Still waiting for my 2nd container
I purchased 2 containers at the end of August. I received the first one September 24. It has a major dent in the middle of the roof, which is collecting water (and I am sure will soon rust and leak). I asked for the checklist (always completed before receiving the last 6 containers) and was told they don't have one anymore. I still haven't received the 2nd container. Haven't heard from anyone. It was supposed to be a 7-day lag time before delivery.
Response from Container OneOct 16, 2026
Lorne, thank you for your continued business. We’re sorry for the frustration with the first container’s condition and the wait for your second.
The containers purchased were Cargo Worthy units, rather than new containers, so signs of prior use can be expected. However, we take your concern about water collecting in the roof dent seriously and would like to review the photos and condition with you before determining the appropriate next steps.
Container availability and specialized trucking schedules can affect delivery timing, but we understand you need a clear update. Please continue your existing email conversation with our team so we can review the roof condition, clarify the inspection documentation, and confirm the next steps for your outstanding container.

Claims of "industry leaders"... Actually full of untruth!
I paid ContainerOne on August 14th for a 40ft High Cube one-trip container. Over a month later, I'm just now taking delivery of a usable unit at my site.
Damaged Goods: The first unit arrived on Sept 9th with damaged door hardware, welded bolts through the handle to prevent inspection, and torn weatherstripping caused during loading. They told me I'd have to accept it in that condition, or refuse it. Fortunately they record their calls! That they do not repair them after delivery. Turns out they literally sent it to the yard and the CSC plate is the same as the originally shipped unit, and now the door hardware is replaced and weather strip has been cut and spliced to make the repair. Straight up lies. During the two weeks of stalling they told me that "we're working on it"... "have to locate one", "have to maneuver other units in the yard to get to your's..." etc. They claimed they were working to arrange for a different unit for the past two weeks! If they were simply honest each time, I'd certainly be more understanding!
Non-Existent Support: My original sales rep completely ghosted my calls and emails once payment cleared. I had to navigate 6 different employees across multiple departments just to get basic status updates. Even those were hard fought (and as stated lies).
Broken Promises: I was repeatedly promised callbacks on Sept 17, 18, and 21. None happened. I only received action after filing a formal BBB complaint.
Delivery Mismanagement: After agreeing to a rescheduled morning delivery on Sept 23, the unit was 5 hours late without notice. The delivery manager then claimed via text that they don't commit to delivery times because they don't own the yard.
Unfair Refund Policy: When I asked to cancel due to their failure to deliver, they threatened to charge me a delivery fee for a order they failed to fulfill.
ContainerOne advertises itself as an "industry leader," but their lack of internal ownership and customer service tells a very different story. You have no control over what you actually receive or when it will arrive. Save yourself the headache and find a more reputable container supplier, there has to be one out there. ContainerOne is NOT it. Btw I've got time stamped photos, email threads, phone call logs, etc. to support every bit of this and good news they record their phone calls as is stated when you call their business lines. If I could rate lower than (1), I'd happily give them a (-5). Purely frustrating experience.

We are sorry to hear your situation. As you mentioned, you refused your contaier and we took it back to depot and they fixed the probles you had. I do not see the lie you are refering too. When you buy the container we give you clear instructions on what department, phine number that you can call if you have any problems. In a situation like this the continer was inspected buy the depot and by yourself. Problems were found and we made it right. Sound like we have a communication misunderstanding. To address the "theaten to charge you a canceltion fee comment". That is exaclty our policy until we see pictures and proof of what the problem is. once you submited pictures we gladly removed container and depot fixed and it was returned to you at zero cost to you. you will get decades of use out of that container and you have a 5 yr warranty on it a well. We have delivered over 100,000 containers and will do whatever it takes to resolve legitimate issues. Yes we do record all phone calls, text and emails with everyone you talked to so we can inprove any problem areas. I listened to them all.

very dissatisfied service
Ok you ask. It take 3 weeks to get it. When I called it was hard to get anyone to answer. The person in (Dave) has not professional whistling on the phone.
When the container arrived the driver looked confused parked in the middle of the street I had to tell him to move for the school bus to get by. He informed me he could not back in the drive. (I just had a trailer this side in there last week with a car port.) He did try but acted like he didn't know how. I ended up taking him to a second location to unload it. The man was in slow motion the whole time. He was upset when I told I would not sign the paper work UNTIL he opened the container. He ask why.
I called Dave back told him the problem. I ask for the form to ask for a refund for not delivering to my site. He said ok BUT it would not do any good.

We only use DOT certified and quailified turcking companies. If driver felt it was unsafe he will not do anyhting that would cause any damage. This is why we go over all deliver details with you when you place the order so there will be no suprises at delivery. We are sorry the driver refused for something they felt was unsafe or could cause damage. Tiltbed trailers are different than a normal flatbed trailers. He has height issues, tilting issues when unloading to be concerned about. Sorry for the bad frustaitng experience you had. We will work on better communication with you after you place a order abut deliver proceedures.
